United States President Donald Trump arrived in Évian-les-Bains, France, to attend the G7 summit, where he will hold meetings with the leaders of the world's most industrialized countries.
After landing, Trump headed to the Royal Hotel, where the summit is being held. Speaking briefly to reporters present, he commented on the host city with the words: " Everything is very beautiful ."
During the trip on the presidential plane Air Force One to France, Trump also published a message on his Truth Social platform, where he criticized the immigration policies of several Western countries.
"If you import people from Third World countries, you very quickly become Third World yourself. And there's nothing you can do to change that," the US president wrote.
The statement comes as immigration is expected to be a topic of discussion among G7 leaders. Trump has repeatedly criticized the immigration policies of several European countries in recent months, arguing that they have a negative impact on their security and economies.
