The United Arab Emirates (UAE) pledged to invest $1.4 trillion in the United States over the next decade, marking one of the largest foreign investment commitments in U.S. history.
On Tuesday, President Trump hosted the National Security Advisor of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, for a meeting in the Oval Office, followed by a dinner with Vice President Vance and several cabinet members, according to an official White House statement.
The UAE National Security Advisor, who was visiting Washington under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, was joined by a large delegation, including the heads of major UAE funds and corporations.
"Following the meeting, the UAE proudly committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment framework in the United States," the statement added.
This new framework will significantly increase the UAE's existing investments in the US economy in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and US manufacturing.
