It was sanctioned by the USA, Aleksandar Vulin resigns

The head of Serbian espionage, Aleksandar Vulin, has resigned. Although President Vucic came to his side when the Americans sanctioned him, it seems that his end has come. It was Vulin himself who announced his departure, as he made it clear that the US-EU wanted his head.

" The USA and the EU are asking for my head as a precondition for not imposing sanctions on Serbia, I am not the cause of blackmail and pressure on Serbia and the Serbian world, but I will not allow myself to be the cause of blackmail and pressure on Serbia and the Serbian world. Therefore, I submit my irrevocable resignation from the post of BIA director" , the announcement states.

On July 11, Vullin was put on the US sanctions list. According to the Treasury, Vullin was involved in corrupt affairs to "advance his political agendas and his personal interests at the expense of peace and stability in the Western Balkans". According to the announcement, he was also involved in transatlantic organized crime, illegal narcotics operations and abuse of office.

In an announcement on November 3, Vulin said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Serbia are facing threats and blackmail, which he compared to the "Austro-Hungarian ultimatum of 1914".

" We are asked to recognize Kosovo, leave Republika Srpska and not be a sovereign country and nation imposing sanctions on the Russian Federation ," said Vulin.

" If we agree to do this, the next demand would be the expulsion of Chinese investments, the unconditional technological and economic dependence on the West, as well as the continuation of the political and territorial disintegration of Serbia and the acceptance of Western values in which there is no place for the family and the traditional nation and in the end not even for social justice ", he continued.
