Mysterious trip, Russian plane caught flying to USA

A Russian Ilyushin II-96-300 plane has made a mysterious trip to the USA. It took off today from Vnukovo, Moscow at 10:05 am local time in the direction of the USA.

The plane flew north to avoid entering Finnish airspace and then turned west into the Atlantic Ocean.

After more than eleven hours of flight he landed in Washington. The route is shown on all flight trackers and the aircraft is model RA-96918.

Regarding this mysterious trip, spoke the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. She has ruled out any contact or confidential negotiations with the US administration.
