Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that it was inevitable that someone would challenge Russian President Vladimir Putin, referring to the Wagner group rebellion.
" For us, it has always been very clear that it is only a matter of time before someone in Russia dares to challenge Putin. Because we saw how his power and authority is shrinking and how Russia is entering very difficult turbulence. So Prigozhin is only the first to dare, but I have no doubt that others will follow one way or another ," Kuleba said in an interview with CNN on Tuesday.
He also pointed out that Putin's nuclear strike is the last weapon in his arsenal, which there is a fear that it could be used.
" Honestly, I believe that the fear of nuclear weapons is the last argument that Putin has in his book... He exhausted all other arguments ," added Ukraine's top diplomat.
