The Israeli army says it is continuing ground operations in the Gaza Strip, where during the fighting, dozens of terrorists were killed who were in buildings and tunnels and tried to attack IDF troops.
An IDF plane hit a building belonging to the Hamas organization, with over 20 terrorists inside.
In addition, over the past few days, the IDF has struck over 600 terrorist targets, including weapons depots, dozens of anti-tank missile launch sites, as well as shelters and grounds used by the terrorist organization Hamas.
Overnight, IDF troops identified armed terrorists and an anti-tank missile launch post in the Al-Azhar University area and directed a fighter jet to strike them.
Meanwhile, the number of people killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 has risen to 7,950, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Ramallah said on Sunday, citing sources in the Hamas-controlled enclave.
Nearly three-quarters (73%) of those killed are from vulnerable populations, including children, women and the elderly, according to the ministry's report.
More than 20,000 people have been injured, the ministry added.
The reported death toll includes 116 medical personnel, as many hospitals have been hit by military attacks.
In an earlier update, the ministry said 24 hospitals in northern Gaza, with a combined capacity of 2,000 beds, had been told to evacuate.
