New images from the luxury residence on Avenue Foch shed light on the premises used by the financier; France launches two new investigations
New images from inside Jeffrey Epstein's Paris apartment have been released, showing rooms filled with photographs of naked women and a massage room equipped with various tools.
In one of the photos, Epstein appears half-naked, lying next to two topless young women inside the £10 million apartment, which reportedly hosted high-profile guests. The luxurious 18-room residence served as his base in the heart of the French capital.
As authorities investigate allegations by several women against the financier, police have identified the apartment, located just a few minutes' walk from the Arc de Triomphe, as a place where exploitation may have taken place.
Epstein visited the property more than 170 times, using it as the European headquarters for his global sex trafficking operation.
French investigators working on the case have spent several weeks analyzing the address 22 Avenue Foch, as the apartment has been repeatedly mentioned in documents recently released by the US Department of Justice.
The photos from inside came to light after checks were carried out in connection with French fashion agent Jean-Luc Brunel, who faced rape charges and then committed suicide in custody in 2022. Brunel was known to be an associate of Epstein before the latter's death.

One of the images released shows a massage room with red walls and dim lighting. There are pictures on the wall, while a massage table is in the center. Officers also found drawers containing a large number of so-called massage equipment.
Another photo seized from the apartment, located on one of the world's most affluent and exclusive streets, shows Epstein lying on his stomach on a massage table, facing the camera, while two bare-breasted women stand at his feet. One appears to be wearing only underwear, while the other is wearing jeans.
In 2019, Epstein's Franco-Brazilian butler told Franceinfo that the massage room was specifically built to accommodate "a large number of women."
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, there were also taxidermy objects in some rooms, including a small elephant and a vulture. The red motif dominated the entire apartment, including an office furnished in red leather and a Chinese-inspired room, with portraits of emperors and wallpaper with dragon motifs.
All the photos were confiscated by investigators in 2019, the year in which Epstein allegedly ended his life in a prison cell in the United States.

The investigation into Epstein continues, with at least three women claiming to have been abused by him or his associates in France. There are concerns that the real number of victims may be higher. French police released the photos to encourage other people who may have been victims to come forward.
Paris Chief Prosecutor Laure Beccuau stated that "we hope that all this data will help us create a complete and as comprehensive picture of the case as possible."
French authorities have launched two new investigations into Epstein, one for financial crimes and another for human trafficking.
The property was also mentioned extensively in documents related to Epstein, including a photograph showing former British ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson, dressed only in his underwear. Mandelson said he had “no idea” why he was photographed in that condition. In the image, he appears next to an unidentified young woman, looking at an iPad.

Both Mandelson and Prince Andrew have categorically denied any knowledge of Epstein's criminal activities.
Another frequent visitor to the residence was Epstein's long-term British partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, 64, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence in a US prison for trafficking minors.
