Known as the European capital of financial services and with the highest GDP per capita in the world, it is also a country that stands out by once again topping the highest salary scale in Europe.

According to a comparison made by the Voronoi app, based on Eurostat data, Luxembourg offers an average salary of 47 euros per hour, thus establishing itself as the most attractive destination for millions of workers.

In 2023, the average annual salary in Luxembourg reached 73,418 euros, which means approximately 6,118 euros per month, spread over 12 payments. Luxembourg is not only a destination with attractive salaries, but also a country that offers a high quality of life. Its economic stability and comprehensive employment policy make it an ideal place for workers who want to improve their professional and personal situation.

The labor market in Luxembourg is open to hiring workers, as shown by the variety of job offers available through the EURES (European Employment Services) portal, a platform that aggregates employment opportunities and provides access to thousands of job vacancies in the countries of the European Union, including private and public companies.

In most cases, these are contracts for an indefinite period.

The process of finding a job through EURES is simple: users can register on the portal to access all job offers and save their searches, although they can be accessed without registration.

In addition, they can filter their searches by publication date, sector, country, type of contract and other criteria and apply directly to the offers they are interested in, following the specific instructions for each advertisement.

Luxembourg's figures put it above other high-wage European countries, such as Denmark, which follows with an average wage of €42 an hour, and Norway, which records an average wage of €41.7 an hour.

Iceland follows with 39.5 euros per hour and Belgium is among the top five with 36.3 euros per hour. Other high-wage countries are Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland and Austria, all with average wages between £30 and £33.30 an hour.
