Thousands of Serbian citizens rose again in protest today and flooded the streets of Belgrade. This is the sixth mass protest held over the violent attacks that took place last month in Belgrade schools.
After the resignation of the Minister of Education, the protesters also demand the removal of the Minister of the Interior and the sending of the country to early elections. Meanwhile, two days ago President Vucic and Prime Minister Bernabic expressed their readiness to send the country to early elections if they do not reach an agreement with the opposition to overcome this situation.
As reported by the Serbian media, several thousand citizens gathered near the Assembly, while the police surrounded the government building. While in the protest, the citizens have unfurled various banners demanding the removal of Aleksandër Vucic.
Also noticeable are several giant cardboard figures of Aleksandar Vučič and Ana Brnabić, as well as the owner of the newspaper Informer Dragan Vučičevic dressed in prison suits with the numbers "000001", "000002" and "000003" placed.
