Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said recent Russian attacks have focused on the country's railway network, targeting the supply chain and critical infrastructure.
His reaction comes at a time when Ukraine is facing its worst energy crisis since the start of the war, as a harsh winter approaches.
A series of Russian attacks has severely damaged energy infrastructure, increasing the risk of long-term disruptions to power and basic services.
"The Russian military, as in previous days, is focusing its efforts on terrorizing the supply chain, first of all our railway network," Zelensky said.
According to Ukrainian authorities, the attacks have hit the railway network in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, endangering the transport of goods and the movement of civilians.
