Emmanuel Macron, Epstein

New documents released as part of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, which amount to over 3 million additional pages, have also included the name of French President Emmanuel Macron .

His name is mentioned in several materials belonging to the periods before and after his coming to power in 2017.

According to these documents, Epstein claimed to have been in contact with Emmanuel Macron and that the latter had asked him for assistance on various matters.

One of the references includes an email dated September 17, 2018, sent to the president and CEO of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Borge Brende, where Epstein emphasized the confidential nature of the information and quoted the French President.

“From Macron: We believe that we must rethink, rebuild and reinvent (i) the governance and format of international institutions, (ii) the engagements and relationships between public and private actors and (iii) the socio-economic instruments to better respond to these challenges.

"What socio-economic innovations would you support to promote a more 'progressive' future?" the message reads.

Separately, an email sent to Epstein on March 22, 2016, by Emirati businessman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said he had attended a lunch at the Elysee Palace and held talks with Macron, who was serving as France's economy minister at the time.

“Lunch at the Elysee Palace,” the email read. “Pleasant conversation with the French Minister of the Economy, Mr. Macron, regarding our business in France.”

In another email dated September 12, 2018, Epstein wrote to American businessman Tom Pritzker, referring to a meeting involving Macron.

"Jacques is having dinner with Macron today, so the timing was perfect," the message said.

In another email exchange dated August 30, 2018, Epstein also claimed that Macron sought his advice on “almost everything, including institutions, policies and science,” adding that Macron “wants to lead Europe, maybe the world.”

No official comment has been made by the French presidency regarding the documents.

The US Department of Justice recently released a massive amount of over 3 million pages, 2,000 videos and 180,000 images related to Epstein, as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by US President Donald Trump on November 19 of last year.

The files included photos of well-known figures, grand jury transcripts and investigative data, although many pages were heavily redacted to protect the victims.

The agency released an additional 30,000 documents last Tuesday and on Wednesday announced it had received over 1 million more documents potentially related to Epstein.

Epstein was found dead of a suicide by hanging in a New York City jail on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial. He was facing federal charges of running a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls and women, and his death occurred while he was in custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
