Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to invade Ukraine's eastern region, Donbas, within a few months.
He stated that Putin told US President Donald Trump and his adviser Steve Whitkoff about the invasion plan.
"Putin told the Americans, the White House and President Trump's representative, Whitkoff, that he would take Donbass within two to three months, a maximum of four months ," Zelensky said.
Russia first invaded Donbas, which includes the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in 2014, before launching a full-scale attack on Ukraine in 2022.
