Here's how the Berisha family's wealth changed during 2025, according to the latest data published by HIDAPA....
Argita and Jamarbër Malltezi have begun to erase traces of the vast wealth accumulated both during the time Sali Berisha was in power and afterwards.
While SPAK has seized dozens of properties and the process for the "Partizani" file continues, Argita has emptied almost all of his bank accounts.
According to the declaration for 2025 at the HIDAA, just published, Argita Malltezi has reduced a number of bank accounts in different currencies. Specifically, deposits are reduced by 99,782.58 dollars, 25,024.98 dollars, 14,019.80 dollars, 9,999.14 dollars, as well as other accounts by 2,973.24 euros, 1,741,046.23 lek, 1,860 lek and 12 euros.
At the same time, she also declares additions to several accounts, including 1,905.14 euros, 306.71 euros, and 264.70 dollars, mainly generated from income and bank interest, while she also maintains two current accounts with balances of 13,200 euros and 5,000 lek.
From her income, Argita Malltezi declares 37,174.99 euros from rent, 3,840 euros from her professional activity at "Lapadula Albania" shpk, as well as 29,774.07 lek from bank interest and treasury bills. She also declares income from her salary as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tirana.
Sali Berisha declares the addition of two bank accounts, one with 1,488,951.01 lek from salary income and another with 3.09 dollars from bank interest. He has declared 2,637,853 lek salary as a deputy, 416,344 lek pension, 84,015.67 lek other income and 868.35 lek bank interest.
His wife, Liri Berisha, declares a decrease in one account by 5,030.70 euros, while adding another by 202,248 lekë. She has received 505,908 lekë in pension and 1.52 euros in bank interest.
Meanwhile, the son of the former prime minister, Shkelzen Berisha, declares the increase of one bank account with 27,542.63 euros from business income and another with 5,350.19 lek, while one account has decreased by 2,220 lek. He also declares a loan with 6,549,580 lek, as well as income of 67 thousand euros from the withdrawal of dividends and 6,413 euros in salary from the company "LOGAL" shpk.
The numerous movements in Argita Malltezi's bank accounts are the most prominent element of the Berisha family's asset declaration for 2025, at a time when the SPAK criminal process against Jamarbër Malltezi and the measures imposed on part of the family's assets continue to be under judicial review. /Pamphlet
