Historical shame for Albanians who listen to a prime minister who bought votes massively to become mayor. And, when it didn't work out like that, he went and bought the former president who was the head of the Democratic Party, and who has now gone to prison for corruption.
For corruption, which has been ruling Albania for 30 years
What is corruption?
In every society, it happens that at certain historical times it is ruled by evil, evil and human wickedness.
Of course, tyrannies and cruel dictatorships are the ones that have left their blackest stains in history, in every nation, but also in Albania.
What is the corruption that rules us today?
And why linger with a narrative-historical style, when we have the famous maxims of great people about corruption.
Here they are:
Edmund Burke: In a people generally corrupt, liberty cannot long live.
This is a very accurate maxim of Burke's. Why, in this high level of corruption that still exists in Albania, do you think that freedom exists?! Never!
And the corrupt are talking about anti-corruption reform with the language of a prime minister who came to power with corruption. Historical shame for Albanians who listen to a prime minister who bought votes massively to become mayor. And, when it didn't work out like that, he went and bought the former president who was the head of the Democratic Party, and who is now in prison for corruption.
Do you understand now at what stage is individual freedom in Albania?!!
of secondment
Well, Edmund Burke is very right, and we are proving it every day.
Eric Hoffer: Strength of power corrupts the few, while weakness corrupts the many.
Yes, we Albanians have this maxim on our backs all the time. The weakness of Albanian society has become the main cause of massive corruption that has been ruling Albania and Albanians for 30 years. Weakness is bought with money, weak is sold, and money buys. This is the situation of Albania for about 30 consecutive years. The power of money has conquered the weakness of society, and social evil is ruling.
So what should we do?
The corrupt must be overthrown. But this is done only through an uncorrupted judiciary.
Can SPAK do this?
I do not believe that the former corrupt can punish the corrupt.
Then.
American policy has taken over the elimination of high state corruption in Albania.
Secretary of State in Washington, Blinken, said this in a fair speech.
And Albanians are waiting, but they have also seen that SPAK has arrested a corrupt former president, a deputy prime minister, three ministers and several mayors, all accused of corruption.
But they are still few.
How will this matter go?
We have faith in Washington.
Let's wait and see.
