Why doesn't the fire in the Parliament burn Edi Rama?

The fire is not at all new as a symbol of Berisha's logic to do politics, as it has never brought him a victory or united the opposition in all these years. It's just that he negotiated with the government for small things. In other words, that fire of chairs has burned the democrats but also the opposition...

An opposition, which is convinced that it really represents its constituents, even when it reacts strongly, aims to come to power, in order to save the country from bad governance.

According to our entire history, the Balkan, European, but also world history, any harsh reaction to the government, even if it is overthrown, will ultimately lead the country to elections.

The fire that the PD deputies lit yesterday in the Parliament was a strong action, an action that preceded what Sali Berisha called "the road of no return". So a fierce protest against the government and the majority, until reaching the objective which is a technical government. Which comes if the current opposition represented by Sali Berisha is really the moral and numerical majority of this country. Filling the squares and streets to demonstrate demonstrates a reality that in the eyes of the entire public shows who is the protagonist, who is the majority and who has the right cause.

This objective, i.e. gathering as many people as possible in protests, presenting the right cause and articulating the opposition's battle, the DP can do without lighting up the Parliament. Which is an institution that will serve even tomorrow when the opposition can take power from the people. With this fire he creates a precedent, but above all he creates a symbolism that is not tradition, doc or canon in the western logic of politics and democracy.

But the fire, as Gazmend Bardhi rightly says, is symbolic. After we did not have the burning of the Parliament, what could bring about a revolution or an act by those who really change the logic of things.

The burning of the chairs was indeed a symbolic act. But what symbol can fire bring?

Literally what he stands for. Since we are not dealing with tires or plastics in a square of activist groups. But with the burning of the seats of the Parliament of Albania. And this symbol, at least, is very strong, and if you go further, it is a symbol that speaks of burning the political balance of the Assembly.

Precisely for this symbolism, the USA and the EU, in unison, condemned it clearly and unequivocally. After all, that fire, even if symbolic, does not burn Edi Rama, but is a signal of the breakdown of the stability of the country and the region.

The only signal of this symbol expressed by Bardhi is directed towards SPAK, not to continue with its high-level investigations.

The opposition should direct an appropriate symbolism towards Edi Rama, but without being complex towards the process that SPAK is carrying out towards Sali Berisha. Otherwise, it loses both the cause and the moral card.

The fire is not at all new as a symbol of Berisha's logic to do politics, as it has never brought him a victory or united the opposition in all these years. It's just that he negotiated with the government for small things. In other words, that fire of chairs has burned the democrats but also the opposition, who will be considered by Edi Rama as arsonists in the next elections. But both Berisha and the MPs who started the fire can be elected on closed lists. Lists, which really represent the political cause of today's DP led by the president under house arrest. An opposition, which, as it happened today, fights more with the USA and the EU than with Edi Rama. That, in the absence of the availability of the Americans to talk to the doctor, he does this work himself, signing the pacts that benefit him.

Wasn't Lulzim Basha also attacked in 2020 for this job? The civil disobedience that Berisha is talking about consists of leaving the system and presenting a platform for exiting the crisis. Platform, which must first be convinced, in addition to the public, the USA and the EU. Otherwise, who are you going to talk to? With Edi Rama! / Pamphlet
