After the decline that followed the influx of immigrants who returned to our country for the end of the year holidays, foreign currencies have started to recover.
Almost all the main currencies without exception this Tuesday marked an increase in their value in relation to the Lek, both in sales and in purchases.
Thus, 1 Euro was bought at currency exchange points for 102.5 Lek and sold for 104 Lek. The US dollar was bought at 92.8 Lek and sold at 94.2 Lek.
The same trend has been followed by other foreign currencies, including the British Pound or the Swiss Franc.
The departure of immigrants, but also the intervention of the central bank in the market, is expected to further strengthen foreign currencies in relation to the Lek.
