The changes in the 2023 budget have entered into force. The normative act has been published in the official notebook and foresees an increase in income by 7.5 billion ALL, reaching a total of 650.6 billion ALL.
For journalist Ola Xama, the redistribution is quite shallow.
Invited to the show "MCN Economy", Xama said that the two items on which this increase in income is supported are personal income tax and income from social security, which puts the entire burden on the labor arm.
" There is a fairly shallow redistribution, as far as income planning is concerned. We see that there will be somewhere around 7.5 billion euros or 75 million euros more income than expected in the budget.
The two items that support this increase in income come from personal income tax and social security income. All the burden is placed on the labor side and not on the performance and good administration of the fight against informality or as a result of economic growth.
National taxes or other taxes that show consumer power, there is a decrease in these revenues with these corrections that were made with the normative act of the budget. All hopes for the increase in income have been put by the government by law. There is no increase in income as a result of economic growth.
There was a brief reflection, and why the reconstruction funds have been absorbed since the first 9 months, they see that in 9 months the reconstruction has spent 5 billion ALL and suddenly we increase the funds bringing it to 17 billion ALL, which makes me skeptical whether all will be spent or will need corrections.
890 million euros are the budget expenses for the reconstruction ", she said.
