For a long time, Albania has had a prominent dilemma of a permanent commitment or a didactic action of a strong and professional opposition.
Opposition, not in the rhetorical sense, more specifically, positions in video, audio, or writings critical of the government and Edi Rama. But an opposition structured in the political logic of the word is almost invisible.
This opposition has not functioned since the beginning of Edi Rama's seizure of power in the distant year 2013. In the sense that the government has a political team dedicated to a type of shadow government as happens in every Western country, to develop and carry out the task of a contested political opposition, but above all alternative. Thus bringing before the eyes of the electorate, the future political class that will politically and electorally challenge the political team of Edi Rama's government.
This has not happened for several reasons, starting from either conceptual or organizational deficiencies, however, the biggest problem is the fundamental one, the identity crisis of an opposition that lost power in 2013.
An opposition that has begun its journey, not as a new journey, but as a protection mechanism for the old dinosaurs, so that they are not affected by the "bing bang" of impunity.
The sheep-and-goat opposition of Sali Berisha, who was removed for a short time, and Lulzim Basha as a formal regency, caused the political and intellectual structure of the new opposition cadres to lack the strength and will to wage a real political battle with Edi Rama's socialists.

And so voices were imported from "space" that helped bombard the public with an anti-Rama spirit, which according to them would create the political bedrock of a revolution.
Of course, this political creature, conceived with the mind but not concretely, would never be born. They are in the public's memory, I believe, from the importations of Kim Mehmeti from North Macedonia to throw the syringes of the anti-Rama virus into the public, to other voices that were pumped into the evening panels, as is the case with the sponsorship of posts on social networks.
Syringes that never stuck, because they seemed like a rain of rain and not a structured opposition political opinion. First of all, they kept away the many people that the real opposition of the socialists had and still has in the majority.
Therefore, the emergence of voices such as Adriana Kalaja, or even her media counterparts who circulate on the brightly lit panels of mobile television studios, wasting kilowatts to rejuvenate the protagonists, does not add up.
They do not stick in the first place because they come as real contraband of real opposition concepts and thought. Which the Democratic Party has in abundance and even qualified in every field, from the economy, education, tourism, the problem of fires, agriculture, health and others and others. Competent who practice their profession without having to work and are paid by the state and politics. Professionals in the true sense of the word, who are capable of giving their political contribution.
But no one is approaching them, because if it were to happen then the opposition would have a different face from that of Dr. Berisha. Since 2013, the opposition has presented the list of its representative team at 12:00 on the night of the legal election deadline, because it did not want to have a confrontation with its people, who rightly aspire to be part of the change of rotation.
That's why "castle" type street vendors are alive, selling mugs at 40 degrees Celsius, as if they invented hot water...
