Vendin e dytë PD e ka të garantuar në rang-listën e partive politike në Shqipëri dhe për pasojë dhe të parin ndër partitë opozitare. Pasi vendin e parë, atë të parim fare që të jep mundësi të qeverisësh vendin e ka ‘prenotuar’ PS, me shumë gjasa dhe në mandatin e pestë radhazi.
