But the gratitude for Bujar Hudhri does not stop with Kadare. He has been and remains the greatest supporter of Albanian writers, both well-known ones and those just starting out.

In my opinion, Bujar Hudhri today is not just a common name or simply a publisher.

He is more than an institution; or, more precisely, he is the guardian of the sanctity of the word, an unwavering presence on the border between the writer and time, between the work and its fate.

In an era when books were often subjected to speed, market, and superficiality, Bujar Hudhri chose the most difficult and risky path: the path of dignity.

The "Onufri" Publishing House was the first messenger of the Sanctified Word, which was not established as a company, but as a moral institution of Albanian culture.

It became the place where the Albanian word was treated with the care of an icon, where thought was published without compromise, and where the book was saved from banality. Each of its publications bears an invisible stamp: seriousness, aesthetics, belief in value.

That Ismail Kadare, our great writer of world proportions, entrusted his work exclusively to Bujar Hudhri is undoubtedly an act that speaks more than any biography.

It is the highest recognition that a writer like Kadare can make to a publisher: to hand over his word to someone he knows will not betray him. A rare Albanian alliance was built between them, without a contract, but with cultural trust.

But the gratitude for Bujar Hudhri does not stop with Kadare. He has been and remains the greatest supporter of Albanian writers, both well-known ones and those just starting out.

He has given voice to authors who had no voice, space to those who had no door and dignity, to creators who were often underestimated by time.

In an often ruthless market, he chose to be fair. Fair and honest at the same time!

Anyone who knows Bujar closely, I believe, understands me and agrees with me in this fact that I am claiming.

Bujar Hudhri's valuable work and contribution are not measured only by big names. They are evident in the way he stood by silent writers, young authors, and marginalized thinkers.

He understood that culture is not held together by the peaks alone, but by the balance of the entire human landscape. And Bujari chose not to leave anyone in the dark, as long as the word is honest.

In a society that often forgets those who build strong, enduring foundations in the face of time and remembers only those who climb upon them, these few lines of sincere gratitude may seem overdue, but they are necessary to appreciate the rare values we have among us, but we don't see them every day...

Because, without people like Bujar Hudhri, Albanian literature would have a voice, but not its shelter; it would have names, but no memory; many books, but little dignity.

Bujari gave the word a shelter. He gave the writer confidence. He gave Albanian culture an axis that did not bend.

And for this, our gratitude is not formal. At a minimum, it should also be a humble tribute to the Man who gave so much to our national art and culture in these decades of a strange transition.
