Political radicalism does not have many alternatives: boycott, protest and finally armed conflict. Sali Berisha's DP has experienced all these phases, both when he was on stage and behind the scenes.
Extreme radicalization or the so-called "revolution without return" is an already old version of Sali Berisha throughout his political life when he is not in power.
If you look at all his stages from 1991, 1997, 1998, 2004, 2013, 2017, 2019, fire, molotov, stones and pyrotechnic munitions are an integral part of his politics.
Therefore, the logic that the people who support it, today elaborate the theory of relations with each institution is not seen as new. After the same people, in 2019, when Ilir Meta was President and hoped to block Rama's power, proposed taking the kalas as a political alternative.

But nevertheless, the question is naturally that when he has tried all these stages and regretted that we will not boycott the elections, then why does he return to the radical scenario?
There is actually a novelty here. As we are on the verge of the 2025 parliamentary elections, which are expected to take place in May. Sali Berisha's opposition has every possibility and perception that it will turn out worse than May 14, 2023. This is what all the polls say. Increasingly, there is a conglomerate of right-wing voters who are looking elsewhere to cast their ballots next year. As they have shown in Shkodër, they, that is, the traditional voters of the DP, are ready to vote for Edi Rama and Benet Beci rather than Berisha.
But radicalization can create a situation that is known as the Stalinist theory, which was clearly stated by Flamur Noka in the National Council of the DP. Stalin, after a large part of the Red Army, mainly in Ukraine and Belarus surrendered to the Germans in the Second World War, decided to place behind the army the troops of the CHEKA, the secret police, who carried out the order: There is no turning back , otherwise you get killed!. Noka also said this at the meeting. This logic aims to maintain, complicate as much as possible, or more precisely, stop the bleeding that gave a dramatic signal on May 14. After the possibility of it getting even worse, as Edi Rama stated that the DP can go to the figures of 1997.
But this strategy alone cannot work, so strong actions are needed to show that Berisha and his opposition have decided to take strong actions with the internationals, namely the West, or even Edi Rama's oriental friends. such as Erdogan.
They have time and in every dinner panel they repeat the refrain of a collision or interruption of relations with the USA and the EU.
All this has only the purpose of maintaining the atmosphere of war as a simple logic, so that the army is ready and does not desert. Otherwise, as Noka also said: there is no going back. But what numbers are involved: this is shown in the rallies that have taken place, although October 7 as a symbol seems to be related to the anniversary of the massacre of Hamas. Although it shoots like this, it seems to be related to Erdogan's visit. Or more of an alibi to find another postponement. But all this is a tactic, since the policy is really related to a broken relationship between Sali Berisha and the DP deputies with their people. Whom they don't invite to meetings, but only to protests about the criminal cases of the doctor and the DP leadership.
