The news about the massive tourist project that Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Arab investors are preparing for the island of Sazan and Zvërnec, exploded like an underwater bomb in the political and media environment of Tirana. For months, since the Biden administration has declared him non grata, Berisha and his supporters of Reestablishment, together with the media that stand by you, have started a selective attitude towards American politics. In the media close to the opposition there is more news against Biden and his cabinet. The ups and downs of the polls are given carefully when they reflect an advantage for Trump, as well as the daily accusations that the American Democrats are all in the pocket of George Soros's suit. A false expectation has been built for Trump's return to the White House, carefully selling such a fact as a direct hope for Berisha and his political faction.
While this part of the opposition is wasting energy on the fate of the Doctor's son-in-law and the Doctor himself, Rama has been whetting the touristic appetite of Donald the Great's son-in-law. The one whom the alley was waiting for as the savior of the last hour, after the presidential elections in the USA. This "confusion" of bridegrooms, in fact purely figurative and unrelated, shows at the end of the road the futility and naivety of the calculations (for the umpteenth time) that are made in the Albanian "village" when it comes to the Americans.
That the latter are a very fluid and contradictory matter for the imagination and principles of the normal Albanian, this is little but certain. The Americans are there, with their interests, which should not be confused with our interests. At the moment when the interests of the two parties, the USA and Albania, coincide, the government officials in Tirana, left or right, remember that they have the Americans as friends. The word comes, when Trump came to power in 2016, Rama had attacked him on CNN during the campaign. Many predicted trouble for the Albanian prime minister in the coming years. The interests that would follow, where the position of the Albanian government was seen as weighty in US regional politics at that moment, meant that Rama did not receive any lightning from Washington for cursing Trump. In fact what came was just the opposite. The Americans kept Rama in power even when the famous Chadra was erected in 2017, even during the crisis of handing over the mandates, when the opposition led its crowds to the walls of the Prime Minister's Office, while the US embassy issued strong warnings to Basha, Berisha and Kryemadhi. .

We live in the era of the crisis of ideologies and in the world today there are many intertwined interests that make it incomprehensible to read reports, relations and alliances between states and governments, only on political criteria and ideological affiliation. In order to factor in the Americans, you must have power, but also be useful to them. This old axiom applies to all times and all circumstances. The current Prime Minister of Albania has been shot by both, both the power and the need of the Americans for Albania at the current moment. I wasn't born with a shirt, Edi Rama, I was born with the shirt itself!
