The decision of the Court of Appeal to legitimize "de jure" the real opposition of the country has revived the illusion that islands of freedom and independence can exist in the new justice system. The return of the seal to Sali Berisha, from a superficial point of view, may seem like a challenge, contrary to everything that the Tirana regime wanted and wanted.
Edi Rama had as a slogan the non-recognition of the opposition of non-women, the court certified it as legitimate. He wants elections with a rival without funding, without commissioners and without the name of the president on the ballot (as on May 14), the justice system has prevented this dream from now on. He wants to his right, a democratic parliamentary group, whose deputies he appoints himself, while the stripping of Lulzim Basha from the DP sign killed this hope.
So, if you look at it from this point of view, the impression is created that today the autocracy has retreated and justice has won. This was also seen in the first reactions of some of the exponents of the Democratic Party, who raised two fingers up, danced at the headquarters and began to issue enthusiastic slogans about the end of Rama's game and the imminent victory of the Democrats.
But no matter how beautiful this tale sounds, no matter how much the persecuted followers of the opposition need optimism, unfortunately it is all just a disappointing mirage. A cold analysis makes clear that there is no place to see light at the end of the tunnel.
The first, because you can't have hope, when you see that for such a simple decision, the main force of the opposition was at the doors of the courts for two and a half years. She appeared disarmed in two pairs of elections, in the partial ones on March 6 and in the general municipal elections on May 14, thanks to the calculations of the new justice. The guiding decision of the Supreme Court according to which a party that is not part of the process (Basha-Alibeaj) cannot have the right to appeal and its implementation, this June 11 from the Appeal, proved that everything was quite convenient and that the whole procrastination had a political background. The Renaissance has used justice as an important factor influencing elections.

This small victory of the Berishists was allowed only after the justice passed the general test that it can serve as a measure for new penalties against the opposition.
First, in the May 12 elections, the government showed - in a case that would tarnish any democracy - that it can handcuff an opponent just two days before the elections and that it can use SPAK and GJKKO to prevent the swearing in of a the mayor elected by the people. The precedent is already set for the next elections.
Second and most important, by restoring the seal to the real DP, it seems that along with the right to use the flag, finances and to have commissioners in future elections, the court has disarmed it to act freely in choice. But it is not so. Before "donating" this carrot, the Prosecutor's Office and the Special Court hit the DP with a stick. They isolated him, still without being able to announce the accusation to the leader of the opposition, using the trick of stripping him of his deputy's mandate without going through the assembly.
So, this justice, while with one hand it gave him what was due to him, with the other you had stripped him of something else. Indeed, in the next electoral race, the Democrats may no longer be deprived of having their leader's name on the ballot, but they will not have him present in the campaign. Power and justice forgave them the stamp, but kidnapped Berisha.
Therefore, under these conditions, talking about independent islands of justice, if it is not manipulation, constitutes naivety. Even after this Appeal decision, regardless of the means used, nothing has changed: the government continues to use our "children's heroes" as levers to destroy the equal political game.
