A French citizen stopped Sali Berisha on the street, considering him a politician happy that Albania is developing and tourism has progressed, and he proudly told him that he has been to Albania three times and is very happy that the EU will make Albania a member. To the surprise of the sincere Frenchman, who loves Albania, Berisha broke down in his face and told him that Albania has no chance of joining the EU, that it does not meet the standards, without him coming to power.

Berisha and other opposition figures have often been criticized for insulting Albania or tarnishing its image at international meetings. The criticism in this case is questionable, since ultimately they want to attack the Albanian government and reduce its support in international institutions, even by slandering it.
Even though it's not very ethical to use your own country as a power struggle, there's still a kind of perverse political reasoning behind it.
But to slander Albania in the eyes of a foreign citizen who has come to Albania as a tourist and is happy about its development, terrifying him, is simply a spontaneous evil that reflects your character.
The French tourist, apart from having no political interest, has nothing in his hand to help Berisha in France, to weaken the Albanian government. He does not represent either France, or any international institution, which could disrupt the government's work. He is simply an honest tourist who has the misconception that an Albanian politician, whether in power or in opposition, should be happy about Albania's development.
Sali Berisha's reaction to him shows that he does not promote Albania in the world only for political reasons, since even to someone who has no political interest, he promotes it again. Even to someone who comes, spends money in Albania and loves Albania and its development. This shows that Berisha's love for Albania is conditional: he loves Albania only if it accepts him to rule it, be in power and identify with it. Otherwise, he is ready to rob every tourist who walks the streets of this country happy for Albania, only that it is no longer "his property".
