The administration that steals, how the Albanian state was transformed into a

The Albanian state cannot be built on an administration that functions like a mafia organization.

The heavy smell of moral and legal decay is being felt in every corner of the Albanian public administration.

What in theory should be the pillar of the functioning of the modern state has practically become an apparatus of extortion, an organized structure where corruption is not accidental - it is intentional.

From municipalities to ministries and control agencies, the administration has degraded into a network of interests, bargaining, and injustice, where the citizen is just a number to be exploited.

It's no longer a secret that to get a simple service you need "a hand", a friend, a phone call from above or an envelope. This has become a culture. And the scariest thing is that this culture is being perceived as "normal".

Injustice has been normalized, bribery has been trivialized, theft has been legitimized. We no longer simply have a few corrupt officials – we have a system that lives and breathes corruption.

Every institution that should guarantee equality, meritocracy, and public service has become a checkpoint for clientelist interests.

Decisions are not made on the basis of the law, but on the basis of political or financial interest. A job in the state is not won through a competition, but through payment. A building permit is not granted for the best project, but for the highest bid. A tender is not won by the most qualitative company, but by the one that shares the most.

We are not facing a simple administrative disease – we are facing a metastasis that has affected every organ of the state. And the most tragic thing is that the citizen has nowhere to complain, because even the control mechanisms are seized.

All institutions function as part of the same body that survives through silence and collaboration with illegality. This is no longer just a moral or institutional crisis – it is a national crisis.

This whole situation has catastrophic consequences for citizens' trust in the state, for the business climate, for the future of youth. Every Albanian who leaves the country leaves because he does not see justice, he does not see hope, he does not see real opportunities to build a life with dignity. And what is a state without free and motivated citizens?

The Albanian state cannot be built on an administration that functions like a mafia organization. A deep intervention is needed, a real cleansing, an institutional and ethical revolution. Not with empty words, not with cosmetic reforms for show, but with courageous decisions, serious investigations and real punishments. Otherwise, we are not building a state – we are legalizing a crime.

Because in this bitter reality, we no longer have an administration that serves the state – we have an administration that robs it.
