LaCivita and the tiresome fable of "non-women"!

Who can propose the removal of Sali Berisha's "non-wife"?

Sali Berisha has hired Chris LaChivita as his campaign manager, while for several years Aleksandar Vučić has hired Richard Genelli as a lobbyist in Washington.

Grenell is a clear lobbyist for Belgrade in Washington. For years, Grenell has attempted to soften Serbia's image in US political circles.

It must be said that Grenell, wanted by Sali Berisha, has also spoken about the "non-grata" case, being the only American VIP who has given a position. But when he was out of office. Today, neither Grenell nor any Trump administration official who knows the Balkans have spoken.

LaCivita is the only name that has entered Albania from Trump's electoral circle in the logic of campaign conciliators.

LaCivita raised the podium in public statements, which was expected, but the Democratic Party did not make PR for the ability of a Republican consultant, instead he was sold as a Trump administration official who could remove women's names.

Even DP officials said that the non-grata has been dropped. But how can it be dropped, while we are dealing with a legislative and administrative process?

The New York Times article today exposed Sali Berisha, who has hired a well-known consultant in Republican circles, but as he himself says, he is not a lobbyist.

Not that there's anything special about being a lobbyist. After all, Richard Grenell is or was one, for Vučić as well as for Berisha. In fact, the most important lobbyist for the doctor is Grenell, not Lacivita.

But the situation on the ground is completely different. For Berisha to be removed from Non Grata, someone has to propose it. Either an Albanian government or an important political or international authority.

Who can propose the removal of Sali Berisha's non-wife? If the doctor wins the elections and becomes prime minister, it could happen, but this is post factum. So Berisha needs to win the elections to make the formal request and then this will happen.

Today, there is no political force or logic that can move to overturn a US State Department decree.

Because we are dealing with an institutional decision, which cannot be overturned unless there is a counter-decision to overturn it. As has happened with Trump's decrees or executive orders, 90% of which have been overturned by the courts.

LaChivita is a successful electoral consultant for the right in the US, but in Albania he needs to be proven.

In refined logic, his moves have been well thought out, even the words about the non grata, but there comes a day like today when all his work has gone to waste, when he says that lobbying is not my job.

In a word, Mr. La Chivita has nothing to do with the "non-woman". Because that is President Trump's job. Will he remove it? It remains to be seen, but so far there is no signal.
