Albania is the only country that is perhaps more dangerous than anyone else as a nation from this geopolitical change, as it could lead us to war in Kosovo, but everyone pretends not to care until May 11th.
All parties in Albania are trying to avoid taking a stance on the new US policy in the world and its attack on the European Union.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has found an alarm formula for the EU, saying that President Trump's new stance should be seen as an omen for an alarm to wake Europe up from its slumber.
Sali Berisha's opposition, for its part, thinks only about how to save Sali Berisha from being "non grata" by Trump. For this, it is ready to join forces with Moscow, so that Berisha will no longer have sanctions. By buying a Trump strategist expensively to convince Albanians that he has now bought the USA, he is perhaps the only politician breathing in Europe, except for Putin, who is happy about what is happening, since the Western chaos is a chance for him as a potlikan who is sanctioned in the two largest Western countries, the USA AND Great Britain as corrupt and an underminer of democracy.
On the other hand, the new justice system, left hanging by the thread of international support, seems to have no clear strategy for survival. It knows that its survival now depends on the weakening of the socialists' power.
For this reason, SPAK will try to hit the Socialists as hard as possible until May 11, as it does not want them to get a majority of 84 votes, as it sees it as a threat to their control.
So, don't be surprised to see how the clash between SPAK and the ruling majority will continue until May 11, adding arrest warrants and arresting high-ranking figures of the Socialist Party. Currently, SPAK is acting as the strongest opposition against Edi Rama in these elections, with the objective of not having its fate in its own hands, since it knows that Berisha is threatening to destroy their votes, just enough to be in the Assembly, but not in the cauldron of power.
So, as is clearly seen, Albania is the only country that is perhaps more dangerous than anyone else as a nation from this geopolitical change, as it could lead us to war in Kosovo, but everyone pretends not to care until May 11th.
By then, things will have become outdated at breakneck speed, and Albania and Kosovo together will need to revise their National Security Strategy to closely align it with the European Union and its security policies. Now, the only way is for Europe to lead the battle for its territories and political and military allies.
The European Union must turn membership into a de facto institution, and overcome the bureaucracy produced by this process, which was intended to make the EU's aspiring countries, countries with a Western face, accept it. Now, they must accept and then become Western. Otherwise, they are no longer countries without alternatives.
The example of Albania in the last century is shameless. Albania was the only country in the world that created alliances of three superpowers within a century, without batting an eyelid.
It gained independence and recognized the Albanian state thanks to the USA and President Wilson, built communism thanks to its connection with Russia, and survived Stalinism thanks to its connection with China. Now there is only one alternative, and that is the European Union, in its worst days.
Any political game that damages this geopolitical orientation by using May 11 is a blow to the fate of Albania and its existence, in a world where the right of the strongest and the punishment of victims are being restored. Imagine if today were March 24, 1999.
