Today I heard a story that shocked me, but unfortunately did not surprise me. In the Albania of 2025, the Socialist Party's electoral campaign is not organized with ideas, debate and dignity - but with blackmail, psychological violence and pure exploitation of the administration and their families.
A mother told me with sadness how her husband, a simple worker in Kuçova, was forced to attend an electoral meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama, under the orders of mafia boss Selfo Kapllani, the de facto owner of the Viola Green company that launders money for mafia groups, former mayor and currently director of Albpetrol – a name that is now synonymous with one of the darkest and most compromised figures in that area.
But the pressure didn't stop with him. By order from above, he was forced to take his wife with him, who, with diabetes at 600, was forced to go and listen to the prime minister's "bragging", instead of being in bed or in a health center. With pain and anger, she told me: "My husband forced me because he was afraid of losing his job. I was not a person, I was a number."
This is unacceptable! This is not politics – this is the state mafia!
The state administration has become a tool of electoral blackmail. Instead of working for the citizens, they are transformed into forced participants in the empty spectacles of a regime that has lost all contact with reality and any sense of respect for human dignity.
This is not just abuse – this is a moral and political crime!
I call on every honest citizen: do not remain silent! Report it! Stand up to this organized humiliation!
Albania is not the property of a party! The people are not a crowd to be used!
