The "magic" of the mirror that deforms the opposition's models!
Sali Berisha

As they enter the doctor's perimeter, it seems as if there is a magic of mirrors that deforms the patterns.

Edi Rama, during the series of celebrations in several cities of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, is repeating a message that seems to be gaining ground in public opinion.

That of the image of the Socialist Party as a civic force versus that of the Democratic Party that has behaved aggressively towards citizens and society.

An image that is of course not just like that, as people know how to retrospectively review events, or perceive the behavior of politicians.

Rama, in the festive activities, which will likely continue until the big celebration in the center, aims to instill in the public the idea of a political model of the majority, towards constructive behavior in the political field and in society.

Meanwhile, in front of us is the already calcified model that is personified by the one who brought, planted, built, imposed and of course passed on to other generations, Sali Berisha.

A model that is essentially conflict-based, dehumanizing the adversary through the denigration of personality, family members, and personal character.

A model that, it must be said, makes Sali Berisha a typical kind of guru in today's world, where populist and aggressive leaders look like disciples who have emerged from the doctor's chaotic classrooms.

In today's Albania, this type of model, already widely used, even misused, is in a marked minority in public perception, which is increasingly losing ground.

However, this does not mean that in the political cosmos opposite the socialists, namely what is called the right, where the Democratic Party is at the center, there are no different models from the dominant one.

At the meeting that Ervin Salianji held today at the Academy of Arts, there were several presentations or speeches that brought a different way of public communication. The speech of the renowned art scholar and university professor, Ardian Isufi, particularly stood out, who strongly advocated the creation of a model of a right that convinces citizens of a better Albania than today's.

Indeed, in the Democratic Party, or even in the environment of its close political world.

It has even been proven more than once in these 34 years that a character has left the doctor's security perimeter and appeared to be a different person.

Arben Imami, for example, one of the main founders of the DP; it was different when he became a motion member and formed an opposition party with the DP, and different when he returned as a collaborator of the doctor.

Not in the sense of political rhetoric in its dialectical way, as it is quite normal for everyone to stick to the political format they represent.

But in the model of public communication, what was in this case unnatural was the format he had shown, not only when he was, for example, a centrist politician in the PAD or a co-author of the current Constitution, or even a minister in socialist governments.

The Imam's phrase in the Assembly after January 21, when he uttered the phrase "you are all Zivërs", was a slip that in all likelihood made him regret it, because it was out of character and intellectual and personal nature.

There are several examples of this logic, just look at Lulzim Basha in different positions, or Jozefina Topalli.

Which in human relationships outside of communication in the doctor's mirror is completely different. Whether in relationships with rivals, or in the way of communicating with parts of society.

But, as soon as they enter the doctor's perimeter, it seems as if there is a magic of mirrors that deforms the models. And this is seen in the strange phenomenon of Berishjan cloning, not only in the group of his fans, but also in the environment of young politicians, whether within the DP, in allied parties, or even in new parties. Where the effect of the magic of the mirror in the doctor's perimeter office is immediately noticeable.

The cliché model that has become a political totem in the Albanian opposition is perhaps the essence of the lack of political success. Not only at the national level, but also at the local level. Where there is no shortage of cases where representatives of the Democratic Party (although few), not only win elections but govern with their communities, as well as cooperate or coexist without problems with the government of Edi Rama.

There has even been more than one case where the mayors of Kavaja, Mirdita, Fushëarrës, etc., have provided civic examples of normalizing a new political fable. Which, of course, is not enough if it is not nurtured, if it is not embraced as an idea and political organization.
