"Normalization" is the last chance for Lulzim Basha and his supporters to prove that they know how to do politics differently from Sali Berisha.
There is an attempt on the part of the Democratic Party to be victimized by the "normalization agreement" as the two sides humorously say, which returned Berisha's opposition to the Assembly in exchange for nothing.
Some of the deputies of Basha PD are trying to appear victims of this agreement and talk about a wide conspiracy against them.
As it is now clear, there is no Agreement, but a betrayal of Sali Berisha and his people, under the pressure of the international community and the young deputies who joined you to do their jobs in the Assembly.
But this is of little importance, because it is their cost.
From a political point of view, this is a golden moment for Lulzim Basha's Democratic Party.
This situation has given them perhaps the last chance to rise again and become a serious opposition.
First, the "normalization" in the Parliament has finally erased all the two-year rhetoric of Sali Berisha about Basha's cooperation with Rama. The only public thing that has worked from political cooperation is Berisha's cooperation with Rama, and even worse, Rama's humiliation of Berisha as it is in this case.
So all the rhetoric of those Berisha supporters who say that Basha is Rama's soldier is now falling on their face, as far as they have face left.
And here Basha and his party do not have to present themselves as victims, but they should be happy that this happened. As much work as this agreement has done for Basha, his entire two-year work that he never answered properly to Berisha for those banal accusations, until Berisha solved this issue himself and became a soldier of Rama.
Secondly, "normalization" in the Assembly gives them the chance to go normally in a less violent environment, where they were afraid to enter when there was a fight or to vote for and against laws. Now there they are the normal opposition of the Assembly, while the "normalized" ones are like those patients of pavilion No. 5 who calm down after taking the next medicine but slip again as soon as the Doctor at the window changes their medicines.
Therefore, they should not envy the fact that they have become playful with Rama, they should see this as their advantage.
And finally, "normalization" is the last chance for Lulzim Basha and his supporters to prove that they know how to do politics differently from Sali Berisha, outside of the bazaars, and to become the voice of the opposition in Albania. If until today they were complex that they said you betrayed Berisha or you made bargains, now Berisha has betrayed himself and is making ridiculous bargains just to keep some more MPs around him.
So all Berisha's "subversive" theses towards Basha and the Democratic Party have not only been overthrown by the "normalization agreement" but have returned to his favor.
In essence, the "Normalization Agreement" has normalized Basha and DP more than Berisha and Rama. Hence the approach of DP figures who see this agreement as a serious thing for politics and Albania, or the victimization of DP is wrong.
They should just look at it as their chance, since that agreement has returned their normality, not Berisha and Rama's. This can even be called Rama's first real help for Basha. No deal!
