To put aside the crown of heroism and understand the shame that befell their 'work' over the past three decades.
Yesterday, on December 8th, another ugly sloppy party was held dedicated to Youth Day. The Albanian legislature has also voted a law declaring December 8th, every year, as a holiday and a day off. It seems like no one in this country takes a break, even for a coffee, and they needed a reason not to work.
What is the building of our Legislature where the holiday was declared? By the way. First of all, this is the building where the youth of December 8 won two great battles. The first battle, the day of rest. Another battle, before that, is recorded every time the 'sons' of that revolutionary youth come with bridges of fire and want to burn the Parliament and the city.
Really, what is all this fuss about the youth of the 1990s?
Some of these young people can't wait to gather on December 8th, almost like prom nights. Some of them are absent, some have become grandparents, some have forgotten what happened that day, and others feel guilty for doing what they did.
These were all residents of the city of Students, who apparently all came to Tirana to study and then returned. This suburban arrival in the 'youth revolution' made the country's future even more distorted, dangerous and rural. Rural revolutions have cast a shadow over every place where they have occurred.
Yes, they were all 'sons of the Party', because they all had a good enough biography to study at university. In this case, they were trampling on the honor that the party had done them (according to the logic of the time). But more painfully, they were trampling on the care and investment of the parents who thanked the party for taking their children to school. Those poor people bragged in the village that they were 'someone'.
When the bomb exploded in Tirana, on December 8, the day after - on December 9 - like today, their parents gathered in the Student City and 'squeezed' their children straight home. Grab whatever you can!, because not everyone came out before their parents.
That's it. The communist dictatorship fell, because it fell like everywhere else. When the dictatorship fell, the students were no longer in circulation. Terrible forces that were waiting for the fire of youth, they seized the bridges of fire and burned the country. They burned it, disfigured it, impoverished it, killed more people than in the Second World War, killed without law, robbed the people's wealth, even disfigured the word 'freedom'. In place of socialism, a society of chaos and violence arose.
For 45 years we have not been able to get out of that mud and that slander that was created. Did the young people do it themselves? The young people of the revolution do not even know each other; today they cannot testify for those who were caught in crimes. But mostly, the young people of December dried up like morning dew. Most of them did not commit any crimes themselves.
But does this mean that they did not take the weight of the cross upon themselves?!
Some of them today appear in front of the cameras with the meaning "Look at us, we are the heroes!". They only have this right once a year. Their mafia boss who violated the country, he doesn't love them anymore. He winks and frowns when the party is over: "Get rid of me now!".
But can you still call them 'innocent', much less 'victims'?!
No, they have become people of the crowd and the crowd is a turbine of evil. From youth to crowd, this is a disaster, as if it doesn't work. Okay, the 35-year-old boss of evil is someone else. But these people are cool and go after that 'enemy', as they call him in Vlora. They do this like nobody, like nothing, like 'nobody'. But the evil of nobody is just as bad as the evil of the destructive leader.
So what should be done?
At least a summary should be made! Questions should be asked, first of all, each one should ask himself. And at the end of the 'trial', it should be decided that 'enough with the celebrations for that terrible act against the country!' Otherwise, time will not heal.
And, secondly, what to do:
They should put aside the crown of heroism and understand the shame that happened to their 'deed' these three decades. That behavior did not bring anything good to the country. At least they should spare the people from the holiday festivities.
