The state-building incapacity in Kosovo is the best service to Serbia!

Belgrade is even happier when a half-hearted government in Pristina declares all Albanian parties in Kosovo, Albania, Presevo, Macedonia and Montenegro enemies.

Historically, Serbs and Greeks have claimed that Albanians are incapable of forming a state. After the deserved independence, but only partially achieved by the Americans and NATO, Kosovo is showing serious problems in state formation.

Is it a coincidence that 2025 is a year of crisis in Kosovo? Of course not. There are no coincidences in diplomacy. Since February, when the US changed course in foreign policy, Kosovo has been left without a mandated government and without a constituted Assembly. The US has not had an appointed ambassador to Kosovo, Albania and Serbia for more than a year. American indifference is highlighting the first serious problems of Kosovo, which is openly demonstrating its inability to be a strong and sovereign state without international assistance.

Kosovo has fallen prey to the selfishness and partisanship of some extremely provincial politicians, led by Albin Kurti, who, due to his obsession with power, risks bringing ruin to the state.

Why does the responsibility fall on Albin Kurti?

    1. Because Albin Kurti is the unmandated and 51% unvoted prime minister, who has been dragging the Kosovo Assembly into a non-functional state for 9 months.

    2. Because the Assembly under his leadership functions worse than Rugova's illegal Assembly after the 1990s under Serbian occupation.

    3. Because for 9 months he lied to the people that he had the majority to form the government, but in the end it turned out to be a fraud.

    4. Because during this "semi-state" period, he abused his power by exercising dictation over the Assembly, the prosecution, the constitutional court, internationals, and the media.

    5. Because in 9 months he separated Kosovo from Albania more than in the last 100 years.

    6. Because it has blocked any recognition of Kosovo in the international arena.

    7. Because you pretend not to understand the basic principle of democracy: power is not created by the first party alone, but by the parliamentary majority.

In the end, what did Albin Kurti want?

He dreamed that the majority would vote for the minority, and he would govern alone without a coalition. They would simply vote for him because he is a good "man" but does not share power. Belgrade has always dreamed that Albanians would destroy the state in the struggle for power. Serbs rejoice when they see a Kosovo without a functional Assembly and without a mandated government.

Belgrade is even happier when a half-hearted government in Pristina declares all Albanian parties in Kosovo, Albania, Presevo, Macedonia and Montenegro enemies.

Ironically, this war against the entire Albanian political spectrum in the region comes from those who deceived the people with the flag of "national unity", but today have formalized the concept of an isolated Kosovar nation. Albin Kurti with his selfishness is ready to divide the state but not the power.
