After May 11, the DP will change its name...

Are you saying that with the name change, Berisha will also appear as the "new mayor"?

He did not hold primaries. Only the chairman initiates the political structures and commissioners. Only he makes the list. No one goes on television shows without his permission. No MP goes out to make media statements without getting his "OK". The party base has been manipulated, as critical voices have been removed. He is not giving up the chairman's position, so he is thinking about the right scenario after May 11.

It is said that "he is thinking of changing the name of the party" - it is said in the corridors of the blue headquarters. And then, what campaign and what victory is Berisha talking about, when there is a "mountain" of troubles, problems, and other not at all positive burdens to solve within that party. Perhaps the time has come for the DP, as Meta did with the LSI, to change its name, and look like a new one. and this, according to the "voices inside the blue headquarters", will change everything for that party. Are you saying that the evil lies in the name of the party?

Do you think that with the name change, Berisha will also seem like a “new leader”? Of course, Meta has also become a little regretful that he rushed and changed the name of the party, since even today that political force is called “LSI”. Albanians do not easily forget old names, much less old leaders. And how can Albanians forget the exploits of the Democratic Party, the exploits of President Berisha, or even those that he carries with him today in headquarters, squares, and opposition actions.

By thinking and choosing to change the name, Berisha probably believes that "with the new name, more supporters and voters will come closer, since with the current name, that party is associated with unpleasant events". Another influence on the expected decision after May 11, remains the certain defeat that awaits not only the DP, but also any allied party that will join it. The defeat this time, puts Berisha with his "shoulders against the wall", and does not allow him to remain party leader.

On several occasions, he himself has declared that, "if I lose, I'm leaving". But usually, I personally do not take such statements seriously, especially from Mr. Berisha, who has linked his life to the DP. The current situation, recent events, Berisha's irritation with his own people in Parliament and outside it, as well as the loss he has felt, naturally give him the right to make a credible solution to the party base.

And one of them remains the change of the party's name. "New name, new identity" - the people say.
