Beyond the blackmail that Meta does by saying that they are interested in their logo, Berisha has every reason to not only have Meta on the safe list, but to be with him and some of his loyalists.
The reason is clear.
This parliamentary group that will emerge from the 2025 elections in opposition, has priority to be a group loyal to Berisha, not in relation to the party, but in relation to Berisha's battles with justice.
In this respect, the most reliable person after Sali Berisha on this list is Ilir Meta. He has the same troubles, the same precedents and above all, he expects the same punishments from justice, as Berisha.
So they're kind of born to be on a list.

Berisha stands out for his generosity in electoral agreements with his allies, as he always has them behind him more securely than his own deputies. For him, Fatmir Mediu is safer than Gaz Bardhi, Meta safer than Boçi, or Petraq Milo safer than Gjekmarkaj. For this reason, he will spare no effort to include them in the PD list.
The only problem he has with Meta is the same problem he has with himself, that he can be criminally prosecuted before the elections start and he will not need to be on the list since he is not allowed to run.
This is the only thing that makes it difficult for Flag to make a decision today. They pretend that they are thinking of finding mods for the logo, to come up with their name, but in fact they are waiting to find a solution from SPAKU, which will apparently delete their name, making it easier for Flagur and made it difficult for Berisha to find another name so similar to him on the list.
