Whenever politics wants to cover up its failures, such as corruption and organized crime linked to power, it is quick to hide behind religious prejudices, as if the world or Europe does not love us because we are Muslims.
In addition to being anti-national, anti-constitutional, without consulting anyone, the idea put forward by Edi Rama for the creation of a "Bektashi" state to provide another model of Islam, tolerant, drinking brandy and fighting extremism, is a humiliating, lynching idea , offensive, to the Albanians of the Islamic faith, who for years have been part of the Albanian national identity, as an important state-forming factor, of religious tolerance and harmony and of the smooth running of normal life in this country.
Of course, they were not the only ones, but together with members of other faiths they lived with each other in harmony and peace, according to the Qur'anic verse: "You have your religion (which you believe in) and we have our religion (which we believe)".
The premise for a state that promotes a certain religious model is not only political fundamentalism with certain religious bases, but it is a primordial failure, presupposing that the members of the Islamic faith of our country until today have been intolerant, radical extremists and obstacles for the further development of Albania.

We are Muslims, Catholics and Orthodox Christians as much as we are and as much as the continuous censuses show us to be, while the obstacles to integration do not come from the religions we belong to, but from our corrupt rulers, who, although they change their religion according to interests and meals of the day, once again remain corrupt in the eyes of the world.
Finally, I am bringing a fragment from the speech of the late Baba Reshat Bardhi, may God have mercy on him for his faith, endurance and suffering, who, years ago, when this thesis was raised, said: "I never accept to be part of an action that harms my country even a little. I am Bektashi, I am a believer of the Islamic religion, but, first of all, I am Albanian."
