Until now, the seizure of the phone by the judiciary has become selective because for the same charges, but for different subjects, the prosecution has taken different positions...
Today, half of Albanians are happy when a phone of Ilir Meta's mother-in-law, Erion Velija's wife, or the private belongings of Arben Ahmetaj's partner are seized.
So much do the crowds enjoy that seizures and arrests are broadcast live on camera.
Popular hatred against politicians is partly right, but also a little strange because these people vote for them in elections.
But how legal and constitutional are these procedural actions and is justice creating a standard on a unique criminal practice?
Unfortunately, Albanian justice is being seduced by the popular thirst for handcuffs and seizures, holding two unequal standards in corruption investigations:
- The phones of politicians are seized for passive corruption, but not of businessmen who have committed active corruption;
-Phones are seized not on the principle of following the money but on the principle of following the politicians;
-Phones are seized not in flagrante delicto but after the pilaf;
- The seizure of Ajola Xoxes phone after one year was a total media farce because the notice of seizure had been published several months ago and she had plenty of time to change the phone or throw it in the Lana River;
- The seizure was made by the same prosecutor who put anti-legal pressure on Sali Berisha for the "Curbja" case;
- The seizure of the woman Erion Velija was delayed for 1 year and was carried out 1 day after Berisha accused the prosecutor of a case that was denied by SPAK. Was it a coincidence?
- The seizure of the phone by the judiciary has become selective until today because the prosecution has taken different positions on the same charges, but for different subjects;
- For Berisha's files, the phones were not seized, while for Monika's cases they were;
- For the files of Beqe and the woman's business, the phones were not seized, for the wife of Erion Velija they were seized.
- Liri Berisha's phones were not seized for the foundation, while mother-in-law Meta's phone was surprisingly also seized for her husband's funeral money.
We shouldn't defend the wives, mothers or mothers-in-law of politicians who seized your cell phones, and we shouldn't blame the women who didn't take your phones, but one thing is certain: This is not the same standard of procedural means for finding evidence. .
Everyone is equal before the law and should not be treated with double standards because these have a short media effect but are a legal error.
Justice should not use measures of arrest or seizures for journalistic effects with LIVE cameras at the time and place where the cell phone will be taken.
If you want to clean up politics, seize the 10 phones of Albanian oligarchs and not the wives or mothers-in-law of politicians.
Follow the origin of the money and the "washing machines" because there you will find evidence.
90% of politicians carry out their affairs without involving their family members and even some do not fart their wives at all.
Open the cell phones of businessmen who win tenders, 30 years the same as Rama-Berisha-Meta, because you will find hundreds of politicians or officials, their shareholders and financiers.
In the end, justice left Safet Gjičin in prison, who had sex with a woman for 34 seconds, and released Berisha, who tortured Albania for 34 years.
The political mafia will not be destroyed by the phone of Ajola or Fatima, but the media panels will simply be filled.
