US President Donald Trump's invitation to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to be part of the Peace Board he founded has not only destabilized Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha but has also severely discouraged the Democratic Party (DP) and the entire Albanian opposition!
Although Rama was absent with Trump's own 'permission' at the signing ceremony in Davos, to host the US president's favorite daughter, Ivanka Trump, the publication this week on Trump's official address of the post for the 'Peace Board', through which the US president states that he "welcomes Albania as a founding member of our growing international organization", while the accompanying graphic contains state symbols and the Albanian flag, has apparently put an end to the conspiracy theories with which Berisha, his associates and panelists, are keeping the PD and the opposition in suspense that Edi Rama is in the 'last mile' of his removal from power, with the help of the US!
Especially since the leader of the DP, since he knows the diplomatic 'game' well, knows like hell that Rama, at the latest in early spring, will be at the White House where, in the presence of President Trump, he will officially sign his participation in the 'Peace Board' as a representative of Albania, even as he has received the votes of the DP and opposition MPs in the Albanian Parliament, and has been provided with the President's authorization to sign on behalf of our country!
Adding to this Rama's successful visit to Israel, the special reception given to the head of the Albanian government by his counterpart Netanyahu, especially with his historic speech in the Israeli parliament, there are few who speak in the Knesset and the last was US President Trump, clearly shows that Edi Rama's diplomatic credentials with the most important world leaders, that is, with the dominators of 'political chess' in the world, are extremely high!
While Berisha and his followers were under pressure from these political developments, not at all comforting for the DP and the opposition, as well as the fact that the strong statements of Berisha and his supporters in the January 24 protest in front of the prime minister's office that "Rama is in the last political mile" were not being taken seriously by anyone, and were even being followed with irony, Berisha chose to urgently move abroad!
As always when he's in a bind and has nothing to say in front of his supporters!
Berisha's visit to Strasbourg this time, as a substitute member of the Albanian parliament's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, reminds us of our student days, when due to lack of finances in that difficult time when communism was dying and shortages were everywhere, only one 'latte' was used in the student canteen to feed two people! So, only one student's scholarship was used, if you were lucky enough to have a relative with a state scholarship!
So did Berisha, on his last visit to Strasbourg! He went privately, as the DP was officially represented this time, as usual, by MP Albana Vokshi. The order signed by the Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi clearly indicated that only the head of the delegation Olta Xhaçka, members Ogerta Manastirliu, Iris Luarasi and Albana Vokshi, as well as the secretary of the delegation and the technical support staff, are part of the Albanian delegation. Their expenses are paid!
But Berisha traveled with Vokshi privately as a 'package', participated in several meetings privately, sometimes replacing his MP and sometimes wandering the corridors, under Vokshi's filming, a story that takes us far back in time, to the efforts of Albanian politicians in the last century, to ambush a high-ranking foreign official, just for a photo, to present for internal political consumption in Albania!
Berisha, to his bad luck, but also to the good luck of Albanians and Albania, not only did he not hold any official speech to pour out a river of accusations against his country, in that process of blackening Albania before the world by presenting it as a 'narco-state', an indirect accusation also against the USA, EU and Britain according to which democratic countries are supporting his great accused, Edi Rama as the 'prime minister of the narco-state', but he did not manage to meet during the three days any official, no matter how minor, in Strasbourg with whom he could take a photo! They have started to run away from Berisha! And even humiliate him, when they cannot avoid him at all!
For the first time in these private 'incursions' of Berisha in Strasbourg, he has not managed to catch a single MEP to give a speech in front of him against Rama, even from the European People's Parties, where the DP is part as an observer member. By cutting off and limiting the river of accusations and blackening of Albania in the eyes of the world only to the corridors, now that Albania is truly in the last meters of membership in the European Union! They say this themselves in the EU!
Madje Berisha, është lejuar të flasë vetëm dy minuta në Strasburg, ndonëse koha e parashikuar për ndërhyrjet e folësve është zakonisht më shumë 3 minuta. Ndërprerja erdhi pasi Berisha doli nga tema e debatit dhe e zhvendosi fjalën drejt akuzave politike për situatën në Shqipëri. Kreu i PD si gjithnjë, e cilësoi situatën në Shqipëri si “krizë zgjedhore”, duke vënë në dyshim lirinë e zgjedhjeve dhe duke i përshkruar ato si “farsë”. Ai akuzoi ‘shtetin-parti’ e ‘narkoshtetin’ për deformimin e procesit zgjedhor, duke pretenduar se krimi dhe droga kthehen në vota, të cilat më pas shndërrohen në favore politike e ekonomike e përdoren për të bllokuar drejtësinë.
Berisha në vijim përmendi drejtpërdrejt kryeministrin Rama, duke e akuzuar atë se ka penguar veprimet e prokurorisë lidhur me masat ndaj zv.kryeministres, si edhe duke e përfshirë në akuza që lidhen me çështje të tjera institucionale. Por pikërisht në këtë moment ‘ekstaze’ të Berishës, Presidentja e Asamblesë Parlamentare të Këshillit të Europës, i ndërpreu fjalën dhe ia kaloi diskutimin folësit pasardhës, duke vënë në dukje se Berisha kishte dalë nga tema e parashikuar e debatit.
“Faleminderit shumë. Mikrofoni gjithashtu është i fikur, nuk ka më përkthim. Faleminderit shumë. Para se të kalojmë te zoti Laszlo Veche, sepse ai kishte një listë tjetër, por tani mund ta marrë dhe ai është gati. Ju lutem, e keni fjalën”, është shprehur drejtuesja e seancës në Asamblenë e KiE. Teksa i ndërpreu fjalën kreut të, PD Berisha, i cili gjithsesi vijoi të ngrejë zërin e të flasë pa mikrofon, sië është mësuar në Shqipëri, me Vokshin në krah, të cilës i lexohej tronditja në fytyrë! Dhe vetëm kur drejtuesja e seancës pa në cepin e sallës nga forcat e sigurisë, që kërkonin një tundje koke për të ndërhyrë, Berisha ndaloi së mfoluri dhe u tërhoq! Në fakt ishte poshtërim për Berishën, dhe për hir të së vërtetës ne në ato ndërhyrje dhe prerje fjalë pamë tragjedinë e PD, e cila është peng nën kthetrat e këtij të moshuari, i cili ka veëndosur ta marrë me vete në amëshim partinë më të madhe opozitare!
Por Berisha nuk ndalet në realitetin e tij paralel! As ndërprerja e fjalës në Strasburg nuk e ka penguar që ndërhyrjen e tij ta përdorë për konsum të brendshëm politik. Kjo shpjegon dhe faktin se pamjet që Berisha i transmetonte nga holli i takimit në Asamblenë e KiE, filmoheshin nga Albana Vokshi, për të treguar se e kishin lënë të fliste në takimin e brendshëm. Pa menduar se ndërprerja poshtëruese e fjalës së Berishës në KiE do të ‘pushtonte’ mediat shqiptare!
Por ndërprerja e fjalës në Strasburg tregon se Berishës përfundimisht ia kanë hequr ‘vizën’ edhe europarlamentarët e PPE, aleatët e djathtë të PD që dominojnë Asamblenë Parlamentare të KiE, që e kanë mbështetur këtë parti në mënyrë të vazhdueshme! Duke treguar qartë se vetë ai, si kryetar i PD dhe opozitës, nuk është në ‘kilometrat e fundit’ por është në ‘metrat e fundit’ të karrierës së tij politike, si faktor relevant politik në Shqipëri! Faktor në luftën për vendin e dytë në ‘rang-listën’ e partive politike në Shqipëri, të kuptohemi, përballë Shehajt, Lapajt e Qorit, pa përjashtuar Lul Bashën! Pasi vendin e parë, atë të mundësisë së marrjes në dorë të qeverisjes së vendit përmes fitores në zgjedhje e ka qarë me kohë dhe vakt, pa asnjë shpresë për të ardhmen, sa kohë që në krye të PD të jetë ai, i rikthyeri nga pensionimi politik, vetë Sali Berisha!
Për këtë dramë janë bindur dhe vetë demokratët, të cilët nuk besojnë tek Berisha as për këto skenaret e ardhjes së ‘delta-forcës’ amerikane me helikopterë për të rrëmbyer Ramën në Surrel e për ta burgosur në SHBA, as në këto teoritë e ‘ringjalljes’ së çështjes “McGonigal’, ku jo vetëm që janë mbyllur hetimet në Amerikë, por është dhënë me kohë e vakt dënimi për ish zyrtarin e FBI për mosdeklarimin e 223 mijë dollarëve të marrë borxh nga miku dhe kolegu i tij shqiptaro-amerikan nga Tropoja (janë një qime ... këto para, edhe sikur t’ia kishin falur miqtë e tij të FBI jo t’ia kishin dhënë borxh, krahasuar me lobimin miliona dollarësh të Berishës në Uashington për një vizë dhe heqjen e ‘non gratës’, para të shkuara dëm këto), dhe ku Edi Rama nuk ekziston në asnjë cep të dosjes si person nën hetim nga drejtësia amerikane! Nën ‘hetim’ është vetëm në mendjen e Berishës, të mbështetësve të tij, përfshirë dhe Gaz Bardhin brenda!
Ndërkohë që Berisha në Shqipëri ka lënë demokratët të dëshpëruar dhe të dekurajuar rëndë, nga pamundësia për të qënë një alternativë për të ardhur në pushtet, as pas mandatit të katërt rresht të qeverisjes nga PS dhe Edi Rama! Nuk po shohin Ramën në ‘kilometrin e fundit’. Përkundrazi po shohin Berishën dhe PD në ‘metrat e fundit’, si një parti e udhëhequr nga lider që vetëm ‘firo’ në vota shënon nga zgjedhjet në zgjedhje! Duke mos arritur dot as në nivelin e drejtimit të Bashës, të cilin Berisha e rrëzoi nga drejtimi i demokratëve, pasi Luli tentoi të bënte si kryetar i PD! ‘Preku’ aty ku Berisha nuk mban fare, në pronësinë e PD, pronën e Berishajve mbi këtë parti!

Simply to delay time, to seize the April re-election at the head of the DP, with the 'technically clean' votes of the membership 'filtered' from the support dome on the DP membership lists! To defeat Salinj in a word, this is Berisha's life goal. As he did with Basha!
That is why we say that Trump's invitation to Rama as part of the Peace Board, the meetings of the Albanian Prime Minister with his favorite daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner, his closest advisor on the most serious crises in the world, from Russia-Ukraine and the Middle East to Greenland and Venezuela, Rama's successful visit to Israel and the expected one to the White House, have severely destabilized Berisha and the opposition, now in the 'last meters'! That is why we say that there is a strong discouragement in the DP, there is a drama that continues and deepens day by day!
