Rotation is also required, when a political party has left its "marks" on economic growth, strengthening the rule of law, and strengthening mutual relations with the international fact.
In his New Year's greeting on December 31, Sali Berisha invited Albanians to join him and his party "to make possible the rotation on May 11, 2025". Come - Berisha said - let's give "the last punch to the regime and the narco-state". Amazing. How a politician, even on the blessed day of the New Year, calls for "rotation".
Let Berisha consider it a common phenomenon, since even when the earthquake hit, even when the COVID hit, he was not only happy, but called for "new elections, removal of the Rama government". And who doesn't love rotation. And who does not ask for rotation, when "the cup is full". But Berisha forgets that rotation is done with the majority vote, rotation is certain when a government is "ZERO" from everything, when it has failed to do anything of what it promised, and when that government does not enjoy maximum support among the people .
None of these claims makes Berisha happy. Edi Rama and his government have all the popular support, they have achieved their objectives, they have international support, and above all else, the Socialist Party has increased and not decreased the number of members. The opposite has happened in the DP of Berisha. In fact, Berisha should have been more interested in reorganizing the party, growing and strengthening the structures, and stopping the flow of supporters. Only in the last 10 years, more than 12 thousand members have left the PD, and they continue to leave. Then, what rotation is Berisha talking about? And who does not want to come to power? But the government has some strict criteria and rules, and they don't "approach" you if you ask for "chicks on a skewer".
You have to work hard, you have to fight hard, until the party is a worthy political force. You also have to convince and inspire the large mass of the people, to reach the majority vote. The rotation is required when you, as the leader of the party that claims to come to power, are untainted by corrupt affairs, when you do not have investigative and judicial processes, and when you have an open door to the embassies of Western countries, especially the USA, Great Britain, etc.
Rotation is also required, when a political party has left its "marks" on economic growth, strengthening the rule of law, and strengthening mutual relations with the international fact. I think that today's PD of Berisha has not achieved any of these requirements, criteria or conditions which are logical necessity to achieve victory in the elections. The rotation also likes new parties, or those created along the way in 34 years of transition.
Each of those parties wants rotation and power. But now, the party that produces politics takes power, and the leader who knows how to play "well" on the political carpet is voted in. Even when the people are silent, they have voted for you. Even when he boycotts you in the square, he still voted for you. Therefore, Mr. Berisha, look for rotation or ration within the PD.
