Everyone enjoys the New Year holiday.
Because it is, in fact, the celebration of a big birthday: January 1, 2025.
It is the 2025th birthday of the New Age.
And this celebration, in this new time, has always fed hope. And hope has been justified with the world development of science, human reason, literature, art, theater, cinematography and philosophy, but especially with the continuous development of modern civilization.
While the war is not now the chief preoccupation of mankind, it, like the World War, does not exist and is being forgotten. Because the nuclear balance is keeping the peace stable.
And this is how this long peace, which started in 1945 and continues, has been benefited: because high science gave us the long peace.
It is the nuclear weapon as a two-pronged balance of world hostility that has given us the long peace. Because the risk of nuclear war also carries with it the risk of the extermination of humanity.
And this is the very content of the current peace that has been going on since 1945.
And this peace happened because...
The nuclear weapon that frightened mankind with annihilation, at first, when he saw the nuclear explosion in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, has now, for 45 years, stopped everything.
Because humanity had discovered as a product the weapon that could exterminate it itself.
Then?
Nothing, it is very simple: the catastrophic risk of the use of nuclear weapons, which are in use by both arms of the world enmity, has given us this long peace and the tranquility of security, but also the growth of humanitarian and peaceful judgment, according to the saying of our old Albanians: i tas, i epi tas: oh now, oh never.
This is a stileme in Arabic - the old Illyrian, which the Spartans took first in Sparta, and then all the modern languages that are in Europe today.
