Chimpanzees, the opposition, the parliament?!

Chimpanzees, the opposition, the parliament?!

Parliament is probably in its last legislature with this large number of anonymous and card-raising individuals.

The new legislature of the Albanian Parliament showed the same symptoms as the previous one: boycott, noise, accusations, ridicule, gossip and rioting. The vast majority of the SP deputies used their body language more in voting for the speaker to show the difference and arrogance of the numbers, than the seriousness of the first day of the parliament. The opposition, already experienced in rioting and in 12 years of sacrifice of being in the minority, did what it knew how to do best: ridicule, boycott and rioting. The inaugural day that also coincided with the commemoration of the figure of Azem Hajdari also showed the deep division between the parties. Unfortunately, the DP has contributed negatively to the creation of respect for this figure, while the Albanian state bodies have never properly clarified the figure of his personality, along with the reasons for the sublime state honor. Berisha has contributed like no one else to this stagnation with the mountain of insults he raised on the living.

Parliament is probably in its last legislature with this large number of anonymous and plagiarists. At least Rama understood the public and real concern of many columnists about a parliamentary reality that does not suit the country. In fact, the writer of these lines has proposed a return to the Puppet Theater, where it fits symbolically, even with an even smaller number. Demographically and qualitatively justified. Although Rama's move to reduce these plagiarists seems to help the weight of the SP, and even the DP, one thing is a fact: This parliament with this composition has not played its role for a long time. A great lesson also for the Albanian public that votes blindly. While Rama's card-carrying supporters do not claim to bring any major innovation other than the approval of every directive of Rama, those of the DP, thanks to Berisha, suffer from a lack of identity and the non-inclusion in their ranks of democrats who could take the discourse on laws and the battle against corruption very high. They are an amalgam of two wings that generally know each other well and where some of them are more concerned with words than with the challenges that await the country.

Unfortunately for the country, there are only two people left who make the law for everything. Rama and Berisha and this legislature will play the fate of the country, while we will remain spectators of the frequent misery that the parliament will give us every day in the next four years. This is our destiny, created by ourselves. If there were some unknown Albanians and they united for an ideal to see Albania as a lady, perhaps there would be much higher productivity. The ideal of the Renaissance men of the 19th and 20th centuries has been lost. But this is the situation, this is the parliament, this is our destiny. As the philosopher of our times Noah Harari found a definition: "If you take 10,000 chimpanzees and put them together in Wembley Stadium or in Parliament, you will have real chaos. But if you take 10,000 people who have never met before, they can cooperate and create amazing things". But this is not our case. It is the 11th legislature of the Albanian Parliament.
