Before the start of the qualifying matches for the World Cup, few could have dreamed that the Albanian national team and the Kosovo national team (together) would qualify for the Play-Off stage.
Even less could they have imagined that our two not-so-loved neighbors, Serbia and Greece, would be left out of the competition altogether...
Greece won the European Championship not long ago, while Serbia has historically been competitive in international competitions, both at the national and club levels.
To illustrate their preliminary superiority 'on paper' over the eagles of Albania and Kosovo, it should be noted that the current card value for just three Greek players (Pavlidis, Tzolis, and Tsimikas) is equal to the card value of all the players in the standard formation of the Albanian national team, and double the card value of all the players in the standard formation of the Kosovo national team.
Meanwhile, the current value of the cards for just three Serbian players (Vlahović, Milenkovic, and Pavlović) is equal to the value of the cards of all the players in the standard formation of the Albanian national team, and twice the value of the cards of all the players in the standard formation of the Kosovo national team.
