The Albanian who is disappearing out of fear

Shkruar nga Dijana Toska

History does not judge nations by how many times they were deceived, but by how many times they accepted to die alive. The Albanian does not risk being destroyed by the enemy. He risks being destroyed by the fear of speaking the truth.

The Albanian who is disappearing out of fear
Diana Toska

I addressed this topic a few years ago, but today I see it more clearly than ever:
we are dying alive, more and more every day.

The Albanian today is not being killed. He is dying of fear. Little by little. Every day.
Fear is not coming to us from the state, but from the Albanian parties, which with a job, a tender, a miserable favor, have transformed man into a vegetative being:
who eats, who is silent, and who no longer trusts even his own word.
This is how power is maintained.
Each by being afraid of someone. Albanian leaders are not afraid of the people. They are afraid of the Macedonian partner: who will be elected for a coalition, who will be rewarded with power, who will survive another mandate.

They die for power, not for the nation.

Albanian leaders live in terror of the secret services and the head of government.
They spend every day "nearly dying", fearing when their files will be opened,
when their anti-national deeds will be exposed. It's even worse. Some die even more times.
They are double spies: they speak Albanian, they think Slavic and Arabic.

A breed of them secretly gambles in dark Slavic basements and signs anti-Albanian verdicts.

The other type wears the prayer rug like a tie. He prays wherever he goes:
in parliament, in mosques with bodyguards and police. In universities, he lectures students about the purity of his "Muslimism", sells moral poses and lobbies against the identity of his nation, even though he came to power with 200 votes, enough for him to sell out his own people.
Some of our leaders died the day they came to power. The day they promised to reduce and change the national identity, the day they accepted that we be declared a minority and speak the language of the "20 percent".
Not out of ignorance.
But because they had duties to perform.
From a state-forming population, with over 30 percent, we are being torn apart to be reduced.
To be reformatted as two minority ethnicities within the same ethnicity:
"Albanian" and "Muslim".
What is happening is not fate. It is a project.

It is a system of this state power and a system of foreign anti-Albanian interests.
Our leaders were not wrong, they chose this path.
We did not lose our identity. They signed it.
The minority was not declared by chance by someone. They legalized it.
The Academy did not disappear. They sold it.
Albanian culture was not forgotten. They are erasing it every day.

Religion is not being lived. They are using it for division. And fear is no longer neutrality. It is a crime of complicity.
Who is responsible?
History does not judge nations by how many times they were deceived, but by how many times they accepted to die alive. The Albanian does not risk being destroyed by the enemy. He risks being destroyed by fear of telling the truth.
The question is no longer: are we dying.
The question is:
who will be responsible for this death?
