So the USA 'blesses' the fight against high-level corrupt people and the sending to prison of the "big men" of Albanian politics or as we usually call them the "dinosaurs" of Albanian politics who have put their hands heavily into the state coffers.
Ilir Meta probably did not think that his long political career would end in this way, until recently filled only with high points, with many proven portfolios, from minister, prime minister, speaker of the Parliament to President of Republic.
Perhaps when he moved from the group of December students to the left socialists to become a co-founder of the Eurosocialist Youth Forum, he did not think that he would start work for the first time in his life as a deputy of the Albanian Parliament, he would become prime minister before turning 30 years old, and would be locked in a cell, exactly 34 years after the famous meeting with former president Ramiz Alia, together with other students for the declaration of pluralism.
As his first predecessor at the head of the state, the last communist president in Albania went to prison, facing the handcuffs in the most dignified way possible, simply and solely as responsible for the communist system he represented, the leadership of which he inherited from Enver Hoxha, Ilir Meta face the prosecutors of SPAK for the accusation of corruption and ill-gotten wealth. For which he must answer and prove that he is innocent in the meantime, or face the punishment if the court judges him as such.
But what we are noticing day after day and minute after minute is that Ilir Meta has badly awaited his arrest, declaring that he was raped and dragged, even though the police state that the former president resisted the implementation of the decision to arrest him by opposing police forces. A not at all dignified way for the politician who has held all the highest possible positions in this country, from the minister to the President, to react in this way, to wait very badly for an arrest warrant, which does not presuppose innocence in the end if there is no final decision from the court.
The truth is that the men's prison is but, prison is not wished on anyone, and no one likes to go to the cell. All the more under the charge of theft and waste of state money, in staggering sums and placing assets, which have never been declared, but which have sprouted all over the country, accompanied by staggering expenses in aesthetic centers, or the most expensive stores beds of the world. We refer to the accusations of SPAK in what we are saying, it has listed in detail, with names and surnames, the financiers, the beneficiaries of the Meta-Kryemadhi couple and the 'dorovin' that this couple received according to SPAK, for facilities created for the people of theirs.
Ilir Meta also confronted SPAK prosecutors in the session regarding the security measure against him, using a vocabulary that is not at all dignified towards them, giving warnings and threats to them. These were probably done as venting of a man in trouble and in a difficult emotional and even mental state, since they were not included in any corner of the heavy file with the charges against him and his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi. But the best proof is the reaction of the police who arrested Meta at the Kamza turn that Meta rejected the police forces, opposed them, insulted them and reacted violently to them, to the extent that they forced them to take him out by force from the car to put it in the police car transported to the Tirana Police Directorate.
Meta's serious condition has been seen since Tuesday, as according to media sources published even on social media, as he declared in his cell every time a policeman approached him that he was Vasil Laçi, as well as looking for gym equipment to keep his body in shape , except for the 'pumps' he made every time a policeman approached. For those who don't know, Vasil Laçi is the man who made a failed assassination attempt on King Victor Emmanuel III during his visit to Albania occupied by Italy, in the 40s of the last century!
Precisely seeing such a difficult situation for Meta, who for the sake of the truth is showing that he cannot "keep" the prison, even his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi, has tried to take more responsibility on herself, declaring that she made the purchases that, from expensive clothes to houses and villas, while Ilir Meta did not know how much a bottle of water costs.
In fact, for the majority of Albanians, women decide the purchase, it has become a 'trend' now that they have the last word, and maybe they even pay, but not from their own wallets, but from the common money of the house, but it is very difficult to think that a villa, a building is bought or thousands of euros are spent by the wife without the knowledge of the husband, the pillar of the house that holds the house. All the more so that Ilir Meta has been a minister, deputy prime minister and prime minister who had a signature for millions of euros of the state treasury and gave their destination for investments, while Monika only signed her salary as an MP or not.
While Meta is in jail for corruption, the investigated wealth and its non-declaration, journalists of all wings share the same opinion that Meta's file is the most closed file ever made by SPAK during all these years, and together with Meta they are and his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi, but also the former head of AKEP Piro Xixho and Monika's friend, Ema Çoku, and as a result they must have "agreed" with good lawyers, since with these charges they risk up to 15 years in prison.

Tashmë Berishës i është kopsitur dosja për aferën e ish kompleksit sportiv “Partizani”, përmes të cilës ka favorizuar dhëndrin e tij Jamarbër Malltezi sipas akuzës, i cili ka ndërtuar një kompleks pallatesh me një përfitim të deklaruar prej 5.4 milionë eurosh. Nën akuzën e korrupsionit pasiv, dosja e Berishës cilësohet dhe ajo si një ndër më të plotat e paraqitura deri më tani nga SPAK tek Gjykata e Posaçme, dhe do të jetë pikërisht kjo gjykatë që do të marrë në ‘dorë’ gjykimin e ish kryeministrit demokrat. Eshtë ndjekur paraja me një fjalë me këtë dosje, si me dosjen e Metës.
Njëherësh hetimi për tragjedinë e 21 janarit 2011 ku nga plumbat e Gardës së Republikës u vranë para kryeministrisë 4 demonstrues të pafajshëm në momentuin që protesta po shpërndahej, po vijon me intensitet të jashtëzakonshëm, pas vendimit të Strasburgut që hetimi të ngjitet ‘lart’ tek zinxhiri komandues i asaj dite tragjike. Dhe dihet kush qëndronte në majë të zinxhirit, s’ka askush dyshime, që ishte Sali Berisha dhe këtë po konkludon dhe akuza, referuar të gjitha bisedave, deklaratave, zbardhjes së regjistrimeve dhe sidomos dëshmive.
Kanë dëshmuar me radhë thuajse të gjithë ata që kanë qënë të lidhur në një formë apo në një tjetër me atë ngjarje, ndërsa këtë të mërkurë u thirr dhe ish drejtori i policisë së Shtetit Hysni Burgaj, i cili dha shpjegimet e veta se përse nuk arrestoi sipas kërkesës së kryeprokurores së asaj kohe Ina Rama, drejtuesit e atëhershëm të Gardës për vrasjen e 4 demonstruesve.
Pra dosja është në përfundim e sipër, dhe nuk përjashtohet mundësia që akuzat e formuluara në adresë të tij sipas neneve përkatëse që parathonë dhe masën e dënimit në një rast të mundshëm të shpalljes në fajtor, e zhbën mundësinë e një vendimi për t’u gjykuar nën arrest shtëpiak e mund të lëvizë me vendim gjykate drejt qelisë. Për të qënë në një qeli apo ndoshta dhe afër qelisë së ortakut dhe aleatit të tij, Ilir Meta. Ndoshta dhe për të ndarë mendimin se akuzat që kanë shkëmbyer sa herë kanë qënë kundër njëri tjetrit, herë për grabitjen e floririt në Krrabë, apo për bllokun dhe 700 mijë eurot ryshfet, aferën e energjisë si dhe ‘dorëheqjet për shkak të Zenit’, kanë qënë një gabim, pasi janë përfshirë në dosjet respektive të hetimit të pasurisë.
Pavarësisht se një ditë para vendimit të gjyqtares për gjykimin e dosjes së “Partizanit”, Berisha ka nisur deputetët e tij për të protestuar në Strasburg, pavarësisht se sa herë ka qënë në gjykatë apo në SPAK Berisha është shoqëruar nga depuetët e tij e një turmë e vogël mbështetësish, për Metën ishin vetëm disa deputetë dhe dy tre mbështetës të PL, me sa duket asgjë s’do të ndikojë në vendimin e drejtësisë së re për t’i shkuar çështjeve në ngarkim të tyre deri në fund.
Fundja SPAK dhe Gjykata e Posaçme ka mbështetjen e mbarë shqiptarëve për të hetuar dhe dërguar në burg nëse shpallen fajtorë të gjithë ata që kanë abuzuar me pushtetin, deputetë, ministra, kryeministra, Presidentë apo zyrtarë të lartë që mund të kenë qënë më parë. Për më tepër që shqiptarët e quajnë drejtësinë e re të kryer nëse futen në qeli Sali Berisha e Ilir Meta, për të dhënë llogari për të gjitha zullumet e shumta që kanë krye gjatë tërë këtyre viteve të kurriz të shqiptarëve. Eshtë drejtësia ajo që vendos, por ‘yjet’ nuk tregojnë shenja pozitive për dyshen Meta-Berisha.
Ndërkohë që SPAK dhe Gjykata e Posaçme kanë dhe mbështetjen e aleatëve tanë të mëdhenj, SHBA, BE dhe Britania e Madhe. Mbështetje pa kushte, për të hetuar dhe dënuar të gjithë të korruptuarit e nivelit të lartë zyrtar. Një gjë të tillë e kanë konfirmuar pas çdo arrestimi apo hetimi. E bënë dhe pas arrestimit të Ilir Metës.
SHBA thotë se mbështet përpjekjet e SPAK-ut kundër korrupsionit të nivelit të lartë. Qëndrimi i Uashingtonit u shpreh në një përgjigje të Departamentit amerikan Shtetit të martën në mbrëmje, ndaj një kërkese të Zërit të Amerikës për të komentuar pas arrestimit të ish-Presidentit të Shqipërisë, Ilir Meta.“Jemi në dijeni të arrestimit. Ju referojmë tek autoritetet shqiptare për detaje të mëtejshme në lidhje me rastin. Shtetet e Bashkuara mbështesin përparimin e Shqipërisë drejt sundimit të ligjit, përfshirë përpjekjet e SPAK-ut për të ndjekur penalisht korrupsionin e nivelit të lartë dhe krimin e organizuar, në përputhje me ligjin”, shprehet një zëdhënës i DASH në përgjigje të interesimit të Zërit të Amerikës.
Pra SHBA e ‘bekon’ luftën ndaj të korruptuarve të nivelit të lartë dhe dërgimin në qeli të “përshqve të mëdhenj” të politikës shqiptare apo siç i quajmë rëndom ‘dinozaurve’ të politikës shqiptare që kanë futur duart rëndshëm në arkën e shtetit. Të të gjithëve pa asnjë dallim, duke mbhësttetur fort drejtësinë e re, SPAK-un dhe Gjykatën e Posaçme. Tek shqiptarët tashmë është rikthyer shpresa se një ditë do të bëhet në këtë vend drejtësi dhe se do të marrë fund njëherë e mirë pandëshkueshmëria e zyrtarëve të lartë.

They should take it 'lightly', and not politicize it, since the defendant is also former President Donald Trump, former French President Sarkozy, former German Chancellor Hlemut Kohl, the father of the unification of Germany into a separate state, former Croatian Prime Minister Sanader , not to mention the former Italian Prime Minister Andreoti who remained at the doors of the courts together with the former Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi. But also ex-prime minister Nano, ex-president Alia. A politician is remembered, I repeat from others, not how he entered politics, but how he left politics. To be dignified for once, as long as they were in power, Berisha and Meta showed that they have a bit of a 'hand', they like lek.
