This dream of his for Albania to flood the streets against Blinken will never come true. There is no need to claim it. Blinken can only be protested by his people, his loyal followers, who have tied their political fate to him.
There is a strong difference in the way Berisha stopped the protest in the name of "unification" and how he then sold it as a protest against Secretary Blinken and the USA.
Before the protest, he said that this is done to celebrate the unity of the opposition and the truth of his sentence. His journalists clearly repeated this in their television comments or on portals.
After the protest, he changed his "motive". The same immediately considered the protest a response to the visit of Secretary Blinken, who supported the Tirana regime and ignored Berisha.
Just as it was disguised for almost two years by attacking Lulzim Basha as a guarantor to mask the battle with the USA, now it is trying to do the opposite. It is trying to celebrate the union with Gazment Bardhi and present this as a protest against the USA since Bardhi betrayed the USA for him.
In both cases we know where the problem is. He has trouble in the USA and is honest there. It is within his right to fight with them, because they have shamed him in his old age by sanctioning him as a thief in the family, as an underminer of democracy and a blackmailer of the justice system.
But the battle with him must be done openly, not sometimes hiding behind Lulzim Basha as his confidant, in favor of the USA, and sometimes hiding behind Gazment Bardhi as the confidant of the USA, in his favor.
He now has a staunch anti-American faction in the opposition, and he can rejoice in this achievement. Even for Albania, it is better to have a legal, sincere, institutional anti-American faction, which is represented by him, than how many arrivist people who speak in the name of the USA, go and take pictures in the USA and say that we are people of the Americans in politics , to escape trials, to get some votes, or to blackmail Berisha to put them on the list.

And I don't understand why Berisha has to say that there was a high turnout, since people are now countable. 30 people work for him under the window, and no longer 3 to 4 thousand people on the boulevard.
After all, he knows that the citizens do not go to the protest.
When the citizens go, the protest belongs to the people, it is no longer his. He does not need the protests of the people. He wants the protests of his "people". And those who were yesterday are his people.
If he was convinced that those 3 to 4 thousand people would turn out, he could have said before that this protest is against the Secretary of State. It is not a small thing to bring out 4 thousand people against the Secretary of State. The problem is that he believes that his people are more happy that Gazi and Salianji have gone, than they are upset that Blinken has come to Albania.
Even for this, in order to attack Blinken, he needs to "debt" Gaz Bardhi to the protesters, who were celebrating his return to the first man.
