These, that is, people, like multiplying birds, but who are being called charlatans, these go to another screen, or create endless screens on the Internet, on Facebook, on Instagram, on X...
We know of two cases where charlatans were banned. The case of the dictatorship in Albania and the case of Europe before the 16th century. Fools were locked up in the castles of Europe. But when they were released, it turned out they were fascinating. 'Reception fascinates', said the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer.
Now we can't tell which is more fascinating, your group of 'precise accuracy', or the charlatans who say what their minds tell them. In the end, they also became charlatans, wanting to be like you. That is, they want to be someone, to write, to publish, to appear on television... It is in human nature to look like someone and try. You got your name out in books and TV screens, and they wanted to be famous like you. But in their own way. They got more clicks, you got left behind. So which one outweighs the other?
It's always been like that, not just today when there are clicks.
I have two events from my experience in the media: The first, in the editorial offices of the main newspapers in Tirana, in the years before the 90s. The editorial office was on the fourth floor, with stairs, up and up. In the late evenings, some steps could be heard that were slowly and timidly walking. We knew one of them was. 'They' were a nuisance to us; we also called them 'fools'. They brought it from a piece of paper to 'publish'. Some of them were able to publish articles and today they have a name. The media are like that, they are like 'honey' for these people who want to have a name.
The second event, with two men with the same name 'Spiro'.
Both from Gjirokastra. Spiro Kufo had been a correspondent for the 'Voice of the People' in Gjirokastër, but now he was brought to the editorial office. The other 'Spiro' was Kiço Thanas Spiri, known only as 'K. Th. Spirit'. He wrote poems, he wrote endlessly. His childhood friend, Kufo, was not publishing to him, so he had closed his 'screen'. One day, Posta brings a whole bag of letters to the office, addressed to Spiro Kufo. On the back of the bag was written: 'These poems K. Th. Spiri wrote it/ So that he could read it/ correct it and publish it/ Turkey Spiro Kufoi”/ … Then, how can the herd of these people be stopped in the media editorial offices? They are everywhere. Is there a way? Shatter all the screens?, maybe this is the solution. But I say that even through the glass screens of the screens there will be both charlatans and "intellectuals".
