When Albanians see how the "renting" of MPs is done by allowing these parliamentary parties to have a fictitious parliamentary group just to take money from Albanian taxes and employ 2-3 of their family members as advisors or secretaries... why should they remain stoic as voters and not be able to make this "bargain" themselves with their votes?
I'm "liking" this "renting" of deputies from the DP to parties that don't even have the votes for one mandate.
The opposition won a total of 50 MPs in the May 11 elections.
Of these, 4 were from SMI, 1 was from PR, 1 was from PDIU, 1 from PPDNJ, 1 from the Agrarian Party.
The DP itself is left with 42 MPs, not counting any who came as transfers, on loan from the SMI or the SP.
Of the 42 MPs remaining for the DP, I heard that 3 will be leased to the SMI to create a parliamentary group with 7 MPs.
6 MPs will be given to Mediu to create another parliamentary group with 7 MPs.
And 6 others to the Agrarian Party so that it too can have a parliamentary group.
So the DP parliamentary group is left with only 27 MPs in total.
It would be good if 6 more MPs gave it to the PDIU so that this party, which received 1,500 votes, could also have a parliamentary group.
And 6 other MPs should be lent to Dula's PPHRJ, which did not receive a single vote on May 11, so that Dula also has a parliamentary group.
And the DP itself should keep whatever is left after the "rent", which according to calculations leaves 15 MPs.
Yes, even out of these 15 "good" ones, you would give 5 to Agron Shehu so that he can also form a parliamentary group, because the DP itself "just fine" has 10 MPs.
But when Albanians see how the "renting" of MPs is done, that these parliamentary parties allow to have a fictitious parliamentary group only to receive money from Albanians' taxes and to employ 2-3 of their family members as advisors or group secretaries as a supposed parliamentary party, and that "have" a parliamentary group with MPs "sold" in the markets, why should they remain stoic as voters and not be able to make this "bargain" themselves with their votes on election day?????
Why did you have to "hand over" the votes of the Democrats when you have an interest in the party that the Democrats fought for, and the Democrats themselves were forbidden from making a "handover" of votes every time there is an election to any party or party that is offered to them for a fee????
And then we say why we have been in opposition for 16 years.
