It seems that the DP, more than for achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine and ending the military conflict that is taking lives and plunging the world economy into crisis, is rejoicing over Trump's 'softening' with Putin.
There is a huge misunderstanding within the DP, and this is not the first time! In the conditions of total powerlessness to conduct politics in the country, to attract voters and to come to power, the democratic leadership sees every movement in the region or in the international arena as a movement that in one form or another centers on the plight of Berisha, his family and his followers in the DP.
With that parallel universe of theirs, the Democrats who have remained in the DP and because they think with Berisha's brain, have been 'brainwashed' for 35 years and this explains the support they gave to make a returnee after 10 years from the 'political grave' such as Berisha, the president, and the most recent events that occurred one after the other, once with the meeting between the Russian 'tsar' Vladimir Putin and the American President Donald Trump in Alaska in order to bring peace between Russia and Ukraine, or a few days later at the meeting held at the White House with the Ukrainian President Zelensky and the leaders of the EU and Britain, they see them as having nothing to do with ending the war in Ukraine, but as if they had only discussed Berisha's predicament with his 'non-wife' in the USA and the confrontations he has with justice! And there are quite a few files in his charge!
This is a parallel and completely inverted reality seen by Berisha and his supporters, who instead of rejoicing over the few small steps forward that the issue of ending the war between Russia and Ukraine has taken, deal with small details about how Trump behaved with Putin, the way he received him, how he appeared in front of the media, what the two respective leaders of the two great world powers said, and above all their 10-15 minutes of communication in 'alone' in the car in which they both moved from the airport to the place where the meeting would take place! Or the 'game' with photo-montages of how European and EU leaders waited for Trump like obedient 'pupils' in the corridors of the White House!
We are not going into the details of this meeting, nor the subsequent situation of how events will precipitate regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the role that the US and European powers can play in achieving peace, we cannot even predict the unpredictability of the situation because Trump himself is an unpredictable politician, while Putin is easily readable in his demands to take over and unite with Russia the entire rich south of Ukraine, that is, even that part that it has not yet conquered. Or else there is no peace for him!
What we do know is how the DP leadership led by Sali Berisha is reading this 'appeasement' of US President Trump with his Russian counterpart Putin. That for the sake of truth, although slightly exaggerated by Trump, the US president has been forced, in order to end the three-year war that has so far claimed over 1 million lives, to 'give in' a little in relation to the reception he gave the 'Russian Tsar' in Alaska, as well as the use of some of Putin's demands, which have to do with the impossibility of returning Crimea, Ukraine, or even the impossibility of Ukraine's membership in NATO. Someone sees them as an attempt to facilitate dialogue, someone as Trump's 'love' for the 'strong' Putin, someone else as an attempt to overcome the situation! Their job!
And what we are seeing, not without pain, is the fact that Berisha and the DP are more than exalted with what has happened and is happening, 'imposing' reality through their parallel reality, like Trump and Putin, more than about Ukraine, they are talking about Albania, Berisha's predicament that has left the DP in opposition for 16 years, as well as the other predicaments of Berisha and his family! As well as the 'predicament' they have with Rama, who is not letting them win, never!
It seems that in the DP, more than for achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine and ending the military conflict that is taking lives and plunging the world economy into crisis, they are rejoicing over Trump's 'softening' with Putin. They call the change in the American president's stance a historic turning point, it is in fact despite the fact that it contains both results - progress and failure, but the democratic leadership and Berisha himself are trying to give other shades to this 'softening' for strategic interests, 'equating' it with the trouble he has with 'non-women' in the US, the confrontation with justice and other accusations that have been made towards Berisha and the DP and by the American CIA, for the sponsorship of the DP by the Kremlin with half a million dollars to create instability in Albania.
Berisha and his followers almost call this 'tenderness' of Trump with Putin an 'amnesty' for the Kremlin leader, despite the political and geopolitical conditions in which it is happening. They almost call Putin a 'victim' of Soros and the Sorosites at the head of the USA, led by former President Joe Biden, who brought the situation to this mess in which the world is today, with the Russia-Ukraine war and other wars on foot.
At first glance, it seems as if the DP is in line with Trump, who says that if I had been the US president, the Russia-Ukraine war would not have happened, a thesis that Trump wanted to hear from Putin, which he managed to hear. While these Trump supporters in Tirana, starting from Berisha and ending with Këlliçi, pretend to convey Trump's ideas in this corner of the globe, for the sake of truth, the reality is completely different. Not only Trump, but also those around him, do not know whether these slaves exist here in Tirana or not. Despite the fact that Berisha has paid over 20 million dollars simply to put his name on the 'radar' of Trump's people, in the hope of removing the 'non-women'.
While the chances of removing Berisha's 'non-women' in the US are zero, the US State Department and the new American administration led by Trump had several chances to do this, Berisha and his followers are trying to present Trump's 'softening' with Putin in a flattering way to their supporters but also to the Albanian public, as an 'amnesty' for the Russian leader in relation to the war and crimes he has committed in Ukraine as well as the problems he has caused, as he has been described as a war criminal not only by the entire democratic world, but also by Trump's own predecessor, former President Biden!
And they are not making this effort simply because they are 'in love' with Putin, perhaps they have been all along and continue to be so, but they are making the attempt to call Putin 'amnestied' by Trump in an attempt to 'amnesti' Berisha and the DP themselves, who received half a million dollars from the Kremlin, the obvious part, to destabilize Albania and the wider Balkan region.
So, they are trying to 'zero out' all the accusations that have been made so far against Berisha that the Kremlin has sponsored Berisha and the DP in Albania! By trying to 'plant' the attitude that Putin is 'not as black as they say', 'he was received with honors by Trump', and consequently the money given by Putin's government to Berisha's DP to destabilize Albania is irrelevant!
The truth is quite different. The meeting in Alaska came to end a war, to avoid instability and save lives in Ukraine and beyond. While Putin gave the Russian money to the DP to create a crisis in the Balkans, to destabilize Albania and the region, in the hope of drawing attention to the crimes being committed in Ukraine! They are two completely different things, despite the fact that the parallel reality of Berisha and his own tries unsuccessfully to reconcile them!
