A shooting attack occurred this evening in the Kalamata area of Greece. It is learned that two people were killed, one Greek and one Albanian.
The incident occurred near a campsite in the tourist area of Foinikounta, in the prefecture of Messinia.
Their identities have not yet been revealed, while according to the police, it is reported that one of the victims, a Greek citizen around 70 years old, is the owner of the campsite where the incident occurred, while the Albanian, around 50, was shot in the back in an attempt to escape from the executioners.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. local time today at a campsite in a place called Finikunda near Kalamata.
Preliminary information indicates that the two victims were shot with automatic weapons. Police are working to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident.
Residents in the area testified that the perpetrator was a young man who allegedly approached two people and shot them at close range. The same source said that the business owner had been attacked in the past, without mentioning names to authorities.
