A 31-year-old man from the village of Rrenxë in Dibra lost his life a day ago after allegedly coming into contact with electricity while working on installing an internet line.
In connection with this incident, the Police announced today that an investigation has been launched into the administrator of the internet company where Andi Sulejmani was employed.
The 43-year-old will be investigated for the offense of 'Violation of occupational safety regulations'.
"Following the investigative actions carried out in relation to this case, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Dibër Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated in a free state, for the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety rules", against the administrator of the internet company in which the 31-year-old citizen OK, 43 years old, resident of Peshkopi, was employed. The procedural materials were referred to the Dibër Prosecutor's Office for further actions," the police announced.
