A tragic event took place in Belgium, where a 43-year-old Albanian man was shot dead, while his cousin was seriously injured.
It is learned that the incident took place on Sunday, August 25 in Machelen and the cause was a dispute over a parking space. The victim has been identified as Shpeti.A.
“After a long dispute over a parking space, a 61-year-old man shot his 43-year-old neighbor and his 19-year-old neighbor on Sunday, the 43-year-old died and the cousin suffered life-threatening injuries. After the shooting, the author escaped, but was later caught by the police" , the media write.
Meanwhile, a witness stated that he saw the victim's wife, who was crying loudly, shouting "is she breathing".
According to the neighbors, for some time things were not going well between the author, who was Italian, and the Albanian.
Also, it was said that at the time of the incident, there was a birthday party at the victim's house. On Sunday evening, the parking spot was allegedly blocked by the victim, leading to the fatal shooting.
